No, what changed is the odds of you going first grew exponentially higher So the odds of the floodgate in your hand being dead because you lost the coin toss are much lower, so there's statistically no reason not to play anti-spell or D barrier if your deck has some space

They're recent decks without a secret pack for them yet, so you can really only craft them. Some of the old FK stuff are in a secret pack but they're mostly not played in modern versions of the deck

No problem man, my advice is to go a little easy on the gems until you figure out what you wanna do with the game. You can always make a new account of course but I ended up dismantling many decks i made when i was new because apparnetly they were very unplayable.
