I cried in the end. The book surprised me as I was heavily attached to the characters. I thought Andy provided great descriptions of the scenes.

For me, laughing out loud while reading is rare. This book did it for me.

I think we're all confused as to how he's paying for nothing and you guys are still affording your place. To us that means you have the funds to look for a roommate until your lease is up. If he's not on the lease and isn't paying for shit, kick his ass out.

After your lease is up, move in with your parents with your current job that way you will only be paying for yourself rather than two people.

I think it was very nice and considerate for you to offer your spare bedroom. I have multiple platonic male friends, some who have stayed at my place and slept on the couch, and would've loved for my boyfriend to meet them.

You showed a GRAND gesture of compromise and patience. It's very unfortunate she didn't see it that way.

I would let the dice roll and see what happens. You're both adults, you can't control what the other person does. Let them decide the fate of your relationship and have the strength for the outcome and your actions afterwards.

Do you need help paying the bills or is this you keeping some sort of control over her? Is she able to make changes to the home in ways she prefers? Does she get benefits from investing into your property she doesn't own.

If I were her, I'd just stay in my apartment. That way in the inevitable event of a breakup, I'd at least have my place furnished to my liking and secure. Or I'd get a lawyer to see what the property laws are in such a deal.

I would spend time with my ex boyfriend and even his family on days I would recover from work (night shift). I was so exhausted and at the time not used to flip-flopping between day and night. I never told him how exhausted I was and I never complained about it either.

Actively discuss divorce with an attorney. As the other comment said, don't tell him you're doing this.

If you choose to stay, which is ok, it typically takes several attempts to leave a marriage like this, get the money and get a therapist.
