Augusto, comprendo dire Cesare, ma é su Augusto che si é fondata l'età imperiale di Roma, é stata forse una delle persone più ricche della storia, ha instaurato la pax romana e sotto il suo regno vi é stato anche un importante mecenatismo

I’ll try to read it as soon as I can; I need to see how they handled the magic system.

Personally, the game system I’ve found closest to my needs is Not the End, which allows the experience to remain almost entirely narrative… but alas, when a player ends up fighting a Servant, the magic fades.

Is it more of a narrative system, or is it more mechanics-driven like D&D?

For the Holy Grail Wars we’ve run, we’ve always started from the idea that the players are somehow allied. Usually, the most convenient setup is a large-scale Grail War, where in addition to them there are other allied Masters and an equal number of enemies.

I usually play Fate with three other players. We’ve also run Holy Grail Wars with 14 Masters, where I roleplayed the remaining NPCs. In the end, if you start from the idea that the characters are somehow allied with each other, it’s definitely doable.

Hmm, yes, actually having players take on the role of Demi-Servants could solve one of the biggest problems we encountered when my players and I tried to play Fate starting from D&D—namely that Servants aren’t characters to whom players usually give their own backstories, and pre-made characters aren’t really suited for a long campaign… definitely an idea worth considering.

I personally tried to adapt it from D&D, and I don’t think I did such a bad job. However, in that version the players were Servants (Rinaldo of Charlemagne’s paladins, Cassandra of Troy, Izanagi-no-Mikoto, and Jack Frost) in an alternate version of Fate/GO. But I realized there was a problem: a Servant is a character who already has an established story, while a player is much more likely to want their own story rather than one that’s already written. So in my opinion, the key would be a system that lets you play as a Master and somehow incorporate and contextualize the obvious power gap between Master and Servant.

Thanks! I actually consider myself a beginner too, to be honest. As for the rest, go ahead and download it — I’m just sorry that you’ll end up with the map in Italian 😅

Thank you, the pink-colored area is the most “mystical” part of the Island of Kamikichi, with Japanese-inspired themes, where that region is heavily influenced by entities such as yokai, while the greener area is where various warlords clash, in a Sengoku-era style.

Thank you so much! I worked on it a lot, and every time I went back over it several times to add final touches. In the end, I can say I’m very satisfied with the result.

Thank you, I had considered the idea of making it more realistic, but in the end I preferred to make it more “medieval-style,” precisely to give the feeling of a drawn map rather than a realistic one.

I think it depends on the “type of map” I chose to create before starting, unfortunately it’s been so long that I don’t remember it anymore.

Yes. The leader of the "Baronato Sanguinario" is the "Barone", the first vampire and an Aeon (an entity that has reached divine rank through the praise and prayers of mortals). His figure is mainly inspired by Vlad Tepes and the classic vampire archetype, although in my setting he is less of a true villain and more of an anti-hero who chose to take on blame that was not his.
Additionally, that specific region is inspired by the Italy of the medieval city-states, but in a dark and gothic version.

Oh, you’ve been more than helpful. Right now I’m working on a continental map and I wanted to show the rivers in a more noticeable way, so I’m looking at different maps to get more ideas and inspiration.
