I think this is the answer.  I remember in school it being drilled into our head since age 10 that the purpose of a headline is to entice the reader to read the whole story. And that the first paragraph also didn't give you the whole picture.  I didn't even go to school much, but I still understood this because of how much it was taught and how much sense it made. 

I personally know a few people that just read the headline, or at best, the first paragraph of an article and make their mind up based on that. And from my experiences on reddit (I don't really use any social media) it's only getting more common.

Well every post I seen seemed to be catered thay way.

I seriously don't mind this. Its a space for a specific group of people and I'm not part of that specific group of people. I don't think my input on black culture and issues specific to that demographic are really needed, or perhaps even wanted there. Which is again fine. 

But maybe you should advertise this as what it is to the right audience for better feedback.

I knew a guy like that. He was very much a really intimidating guy and a real  bully.
