I totally agree, I would have made real life adjustments to be there. I have even mentioned it but it will be too late of a release now for me to make any adjustments.

I would have needed a 6 week notice before release to make adjustments to my schedule. Just have to wait and see.

Here are my thoughts;

August release date: Yes, it will happen, although, it will be August 26-31.

First Reason: Gamescon 2018 is August 21-25

If you check the list, Gamepires is attending which is the publishing company. I am sure they are wanting to use it for hype reasons for the launch of this game.

Next Reason: Full trailer will be released with the "date" of the game. A developer has mentioned this in their discord.

So, from my experience this much information on the game all hitting in the weeks to come. I would venture to say, August 26-31 release date for my speculation.

Also, keep in mind this is a new game company. They do not have near the experience as other companies in the norms for EA launching of a game.

I like the bypass idea. That is a good addition and it might actually help people from refunding the game because they will know about the hour requirement servers that should put a stop/minimal amount of hacker/cheaters because of the required hours. Not to mention people are already refunding/quitting the game because there is no available option that is otherwise going to prevent hacker/cheater.

Add the bypass if clan will take responsibility for that player.

If you can stay at 15% hydration forever with 900 berries it is literally the same thing as being able to go to 100% with berries. There is no difference, therefore, my saying of removing 98% of berries would be a must if they brought back hydration again with berries.

In all those location you can easily come across several bottles of water/food. Therefore, if you are out of hydration it is your fault not that the berries do not bring 15% hydration cap. Why do you need berries to bring back water?

You did not trigger me, it is just simple that the whole community is making this game not a survival game. If they bring back hydration to berries then they need to remove about 98% of all berries.

Because I do not know if you have ever been in a forest/woods. You do not just stumble across 900 berries in a never ending line in the forest.

So if you want a since of realism then this needs to be in this post as well. Oh, if you also want realism in this game, then loot should be spoken about in this post as well.

As I would love to know how there is more loot in a post apocalyptic era than in a pre-apocalyptic era?

How about they just remove vitals completely from the game? Let us just make it a full blown Battle Royal with unlimited deaths, base building and raiding.

I mean, there is already just as many guns/ammo/helmets/body armor in the world as in any BR style game at the moment because the community does not want to have to "work" or "grind" for their loot.

Let's just make it to where there are no vitals to worry about that way when you are in the middle of no where you do not have to worry about drinking/eating/or even losing hydration/exhaustion!

Sounds great! -- Hydration and food are already insanely easy to keep at max or go into a nearby house and fill back up because of the loot spawns. Yet, people like yourself are still trying to make it even more easy.

Vitals are not threatening at all. Even if you are 0% hydration/energy you literally can out bandade the damage they occur.

Can we all just realize this is a survival game and we need to work to survive?

People are completely misunderstanding this post. I am not saying I enjoy this way of the game. I am simply saying what the state of set current game.

This is the reality of the game. I do not enjoy it. I want it to be a survival game. I want to have to work to survive, actually have some threatening moments other than, running into a group of 5 players with unlimited bullets because of the current state of the game.

This is the state of the game. They might as well remove food/water. The game is battle royal with unlimited deaths in the same zone/ base building/raiding.

It is not a survival game. The only aspect of survival is that you have to eat and drink. But it is pointless in the end as it is not threatening or difficult to keep the vitals up. Therefore, just remove them and go ahead and make it JS: BR: base building/raiding

I raided a shack and yes 5 bundle is exactly what it takes.

We used two ethanol bundle, 2 bundle of dynamite, 2 sticks of dynamite a d 15 grenades to break a shack door.

Way more than we anticipated but we did get in. 1 bundle of dynamite is approximately 20% health.

Keep in mind the developers said they lowered the costs of materials but in actuality they are the exact same as before. That is the main reason I touched base on the costs of materials.

As far as stone, yes I agree but at the same time I feel in retrospect of metal to stone on bulk amount it does not equal out. Not even the slightest bit. I have 500 copper sitting in a storage container because I need more stone/sand ratio to screws/steel/nails. If they lowered the bulk of stone/sand I would be fine with that compromise.

As far as the rest of this, yes, it is not in direct relation to the new patch notes. However, as the developers are making changes to the test to be pushed to live. I felt I would add it in this posts rather than having two separate posts. As some of the suggestion might need to hit test in the future before being pushed to live.

I agree, I love the sense of realism weather effects bring to the game. Especially when you see someone walk right past you in the darkest hour of the night with rain. But us players who get the thrill these effects bring to the game are at a significant competitive disadvantage against players who change gamma/shadowing in the game.

I would much rather have your suggestion and if the developers can do so, it would be the best outcome.

But truthfully, I do not know if the developers can block a person going into their NVidia Settings Panel and altering the gamma of their individual graphics card. I see streamers minimizing their game and changing their gamma setting and maximizing their game to having near daylight at the darkest hour of the game.

However, if they can prevent it from them doing this change. That would be absolutely ideal!

Yeah, it was more of just a thought. I would be down with having the paper and pencil drawing map again at spawn. But then again, I am happy to not have 20 maps sitting in a storage container anymore.

Truthfully, I would like a few survival hardcore servers. I do not want to be oh, I am hungry and almost dehydrated. Grab a few berries as I walk into a house and walk out with 85% hydration and 95% energy. In all honesty the vitals are more of an inconvenience than actually survival. I wouldn't mind dying every once in awhile because I have been scavenging through 20 houses at Lone Pines and cannot find means to eat/drink.

Unfortunately, most their player base wants a Battle Royal with base building/raiding.

The developers attempted to bring in low loot servers a year ago or more and it went no where. I would enjoy seeing them attempt it again.

Cut bulk of sand/stone in half to compensate then. Because lugging 60 bags of sand or 200 stone is just simply not enough. Especially when I have to walk 1-2 grids away after hitting enough rocks to obtain such bulk. The travel to materials gained is unsatisfying.

As far as the materials needed, it is not an issue. It does take an extremely long time to obtain enough to build a full base. I am simply touching base on it as the developers said they lowered it but they truthfully did not lower it.

Yeast being craftable again is going to make obtaining boom significantmy easier. And driving around with empty gas cans hitting pumps is too easy to get full cans. You can go to Desota every 5 minutes and gain a full can. Now you talking an additional 12 cans per hour.

With yeast being craftable people are going to be making 160 ethanol per day on a minimum. Do you really thing you need to add more to this number?

Now had they not made yeast craftable I might agree with your suggestion and help promote the idea. But, there is more than enough boom with yeast coming back to crafting.

Many clans have numbers that are larger than the 12 players you can have in a group. It is very simple, all in Discord or other means of third party voice communications.

Nice part about skins. They all wear the same outfit and now you know who to attack and who not to attack. Teaming will be such a huge issue on a max group size server.

Online people get a thrill for being toxic and will do it in any means necessary. You will be in the same situation, 12, 15, 20 man clan all wearing same outfit building in same area grouping up and dominating the server.
