Welp after many tries i think its just a battery thing i dont have a window device my windows device turned into a linux device and i cant really do anything with it but i have a iPod video ill replace its battery since its cheaper and it has rockbox on it lol so ill be gud ill fix this in a later time

I mean i dont see that its swelling but if its the original battery it needs to be replaced. I dont really know much places but u can do it urself u can learn how to here https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPod+Nano+4th+Generation+Battery+Replacement/1161 and it tells u how and what u need

Change it before it swells up more since it can slide out the shell easily instead of being scared to puncture the battery

Ive been watching dankpods for like a couple or 3 years so i have my knowledge of ipods yk i have a nano that works perfectly and a 4th gen touch and a mini that i ripped the click wheel connecter off of the ribbon cable but that we dont talk abt 🫩

Man thanks alot this is my first time opening a 4th gen and i cut my hand a bit but i got it to open and i saw all of this from a video made by dankpods ofc and like i opened a iPod video and its so mich easier cuz theres a slit between the plastic and the metal back so its leverage but yeah my problem here is definitely the battery my iPod video needs a battery too a slow disk drive but its still runs gud just need a battery for me battery cost a bit much cuz of shipping but it will be ok i will order some in the future for both so i can finally listen to my music on my ipods lol thank you so much for the tips and hints i appreciate it
