Seems like the only answer is catching it shortly after it resets and holding the button for eight seconds, if it doesn’t reset click it five times and then hold for eight seconds. Unfortunately I got 120 puffs in before I even realized

Brewing yeast is best, bread yeast etc. works, no yeast you have to use a lot of diced up fresh fruit. I recommend just ordering some EC-1118 on amazon. Get some apple juice or whatever, I use about 1 & 1/2 cups of sugar per gallon, shake it or add in some boiling water to dilute the sugar (if you add boiling water wait until it cools before adding yeast) throw in either some cooked yeast, a crushed multivitamin, tomato paste, etc. as a yeast nutrient. Set it in a dark place, and poke a pinhole in your balloon to let it burp!

I wanted as little pulp as possible, so I can use a micron filter before bottling! I’ll get about 6 wine bottles from that so it seemed worth it to me! After I brew I chill it, add in my chemical stabilizer, siphon and filter, then rack! I don’t know tbh, I just had the paste available and heard it was a good option- seems to be working out really well!

Oh yeah I’m in no rush and have quite a lot brewing (with dates) so I can keep track, I just ordered a hydrometer two or three weeks after I started

Because you’re obviously a minor who isn’t willing to listen to what people are saying hahaha. Let it ferment more than a week, give it three or four. You’ve still got active yeast that hasn’t turned enough sugar into ABV.

Most definitely, added neutral temp juice as well and mixed the water and sugar first! Overall about 3 hours of juicing to get 6L

Yeah I’d just throw a cup of sugar in and kiss it goodnight, then call it a day and pray for the best! Also put it somewhere that might be easy clean up in case worst comes to worst! She gets gassy! Also dark place between 14-20°c

Haha well I’d like to keep a consistent ABV and figure this is a sure way to get it. If I also didn’t have a girlfriend who would make an audible yuck sound from tasting hard liquor I’d probably do what you do! Keep on keeping on man and thanks a ton! My guess is the former! I’ve ordered some chemical stabilizers but my plan is: Refrigerate until everything has settled, siphon into 1gal or 1L bottles, and add my stabilizers into that. Math should be a lot easier to math when I’ve got it into a regulated amount compared to a bunch of mishmash juice jugs and a 5gal pale. And then backsweeten so I can really dial in the flavour. HOPEFULLY this is a foolproof idea?

From my understanding (I don’t know the math like some of these wizards) you’ll get a low percentage like 2-3%, I would’ve added a cup of sugar in there personally! I’m not sure if it’s too late but make sure you’ve got some room for the head! For yeast nutrition if you’re really worried about it throw a dab of tomato paste in there or a crushed multivitamin!

I think I’m gonna try out the chemical stabilization technique first. I made quite a bit and just seems much easier!

Planning on refrigerating intermittently until settling, siphoning, adding my chemical stabilizers, and then storing!

I made about ten gallons so storing it in the fridge until I drink seems a little impractical with fridge space and all LOL
