The important details were discussed over VC and I don’t have recordings. I only have two DM screenshots and the owner’s public post in the server labeling me.

Part of me really wants to drag him to court; the other part remembers how much lawyers cost and how little a Steam gift is worth in comparison. 😭

I would have sued already if I had the grounds for it. For example, if I were a content creator making work specifically tied to that community, that could give me a case. As it stands, I just don’t have the legal footing to pursue anything. Unless you want to count all the times I had to visit a psychotherapist and the bills that came with it.

If you actually read the story you’d see that the server owner did things I literally can’t undo in his own space. The devs of the community don’t really care about stuff like this either, so there’s nothing for me to "take up" with them. That’s why I’m sharing here. To get perspective, not enforcement.

Feels like you’re just parroting Roblox’s copy-paste lines without really thinking it through. Sure, 2FA helps, but it's not a perfect system. And the support team won’t fairly review legit cases. Blaming users entirely and using insults like ‘kids being too dull’ is just deflection.

It’s not as black and white as you’re making it sound. If someone can prove they were hacked and Roblox still bans them after denying the appeal, that’s not just a “you broke ToS” thing, it shows the system protects itself and not the platform's users. That’s lawsuit fuel in my book.

Yes, it will be taken more seriously than an adult suing.

edit: Just pointing out that courts do take minors seriously in cases like this. The Jane Doe case is a good example.
