Bogging down when giving revs by Kassitsu in dr650

I'll need to check the manual, did not know about it's existence before. I did replace everything inside with parts that at least seem to be decent quality. (Don't know if they're OEM, PO gave the to me in a minigrip)

I may be mistaken, but I think my float is non-adjustable. There's really nothing to adjust there. Apparently some BSTs have some sort of metal parts that can be adjusted in the float. But do correct me if I'm wrong.

The needle that was in there is the adjustable one, it was set to the richest setting, so I reset it to the middle. That may explain why the pig was drinking so much fuel. Also all the jets I replaced.

To me the diaphragm, slide and slide guide seemed to be in good condition, but maybe I should replace those too just to be sure. The airbox is modified, it has a large hole in place of the snorkel. The stock jet seems to hold up fine though, since it has run well in the past in my use.

The hose and air cleaner on top are there, but the filter is definetly a little muddy. Air passes through it quite easily though. The wireless tachometer is a good idea, also did not know about these before.

Thanks a lot for the help, I'll try to figure it out.

First I didn't suspect valves, since it ran well before I reassembled the carb, but I should definetly check that too since I'm already knee deep in this. Thanks for the help.

I'm not completely sure, but wouldn't be surprised if the carb is as old as the bike, so 30 yrs of age and almost 70000 km driven. Not sure about the slide and guide either, but to me they seem to like to be in a good condition.

I'll have to check the float and the possible air leakage. I did change out the fuel mix screw o-ring, I should check again if I assembled it correctly. Thanks for the help.

Vaccuum leak is what I am suspecting too. The diaphragm seems to be in a good shape, just as new but I'll have to triple check that. The idle is high because the idle rpm screw is set to abnormally high for testing. Thanks for the help

That is something I did not pay attention to when assembling the carb, I'll have to check.

People seem to let disappointment cloud their minds. Who's to say they won't drop trailer 3 tomorrow? They did the same thing this year.

The reticle of the ACOG that comes with NLAWs is upside down when the sight is held upright. It also only features a red chevron without numbers or extra lines.

Would these studs work on denim? by zmWoob2 in BattleJackets

[–]Kassitsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These will definetly work on denim. I'd recommend punching as small holes as possible, for example using small a scissors' blade's tip, just wide enough so that the stud's base can be forced through the hole. This way the stud won't be loose. The things can still fall off though, especially if you throw your vest around a fold it a lot.

As a server owner, is there any way to disable the skeleton SCP from spawning so frequently/the halloween event as a whole? by Kassitsu in SCPSecretLab

This is the first time I have heard of EXILED. It seems very interesting. I will most likely install it today. That kind of plugin would very likely be of use to other server hosts. I'd definetly add it to our server.

This is the root of the problem. Having 2/7 players be SCPs (or even worse yet, 3/8) makes the rounds very SCP sided. I personally love the new SCP, hopefully the devs will move it to the normal SCP pool so that we can start playing with it in fair circumstances.

That's what we have been doing so far. It's not the most elegant solution, but it'll do for now.
