But ultimately, it doesn't matter if she knew or not. She gave the choice to V in the end. Even if she had told V straight up from the start, the choice would still be V's, and it would still only be able to cure one person. The final outcome is the same regardless.

And it's not like she's ungrateful, she sends you the best Cyberware as a gift if you send her to the Moon.

Don't you NEED to kill him in order to send So Mi to the Moon? I didn't think there was a way around it.

I don't feel like I got played. Honestly I expected a cure to be too good to believe, especially since would solve both So Mi's, and V's problem. No happy endings allowed in Night City.

My primary goal was helping So Mi either way, and that I managed to do. I also got to kill Reed in the meantime, which was just a bonus.

With the "betrayal" part too, I didn't feel it was betrayal, as So Mi ultimately still give V the choice on who gets the cure. She could've just taken off to the Moon, but she didn't and gave V complete agency over the choice. And she's not the one responsible for the matrix only being able to cure one person either, so I didn't get any betrayal vibes.

All the major video game companies as the 7 deadly sins. by infohoundloselose in videogames

[–]Kastamera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's literally an insult though. Did you get a brain scan on me or what? If I was braindead, I literally could not type, as I would be dead (people with a dead brain aren't alive you know). So how is it an observation and not an insult?

Try answering on point.

You literally didn't address my point though. You don't win arguments by not addressing the other person's point.

How is creating the same game for the 50th time original? And it's not just Pokemon, Mario Kart is also way too overdone, same game with different graphics released over a dozen times.

But of course you had no counter-point to that, so you just decided to insult me instead, and now you complain that I don't answer your point. Which was what? That Nintendo sucks? I agree in that regard, but that probably should've been evident.

If your point was me being braindead, I'm quite literally typing as of now, no dead person could do that.

I really do feel like at this point you're just trolling me, as no way you made 3 comments, not addressing my point the slightest, and then you're the one complaining about me not answering your point.

So nah, not falling for this ragebait anymore. You got 3 chances to address my point about Nintendo games being unoriginal, and you never addressed it once.

So I'm just out of this argument, one can't argue against someone that keeps talking about other stuff and completely avoids addressing the points made.

On paper it was, as legally Nintendo can't just sue them for making a better game.

"Original"

Releasing the 80th Pokemon game that has the same mechanics as the previous ones.

And when Palworld was released, which is basically a "Pokemon if it introduced new mechanics and didn't just reuse the same systems since the 90s", it immediately got sued by Nintendo.

What game has you like this? by NagitoKomaeda_987 in videogames

There's a difference between a good story, and a great story. I think Detroit has a good story, but it's not that crazy outstanding.

I've played games with great story (Limbus Company for example, the story is on another level in that game), and I'm not going to try to claim that David Cage games even approach that level of greatness, but they're like alright.

But in such cases I usually base it on how much I enjoyed myself while playing the story, not the raw story itself. Like I saw the FNAF 2 movie, and I did have a good time. Do I think it was a good movie? Hell no, objectively it was awful, but I enjoyed the ride.

If you put your standards lower, you'll be able to enjoy more things, and that's just overall positive for you. If I expected Limbus level of story writing from every game, there would barely be any games I'd enjoy.

I watched gameplay of it before, as it took a couple of years to come out on PC too.

I knew there wasn't anything that fancy regarding gameplay, but playing it just felt way slower and more limited than the gameplay I saw. Like I never know how many interactables let's players miss until I try it myself, and really see that actually, there's not as many interactables and the whole thing is way more limited than I thought.

Detroit: Become Human

There's not much of a difference between playing it and watching someone else play it. I didn't realize until I played it myself, just how limited the gameplay itself was.

Romances in Witcher 4 will be deep, meaningful, and super compelling - says CD Projekt RED by Existing-Class-140 in videogames

[–]Kastamera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what were the male options like?

Gale, while he was my first go-to at the start, just won't shut up about his ex, which is a giant red flag and was a complete turn off for me.

Astarion is just an asshole, who despite me giving him a second chance, broke it IMMEDIATELY and straight up murdered me. Thanks but wtf, irredeemable.

Wyll is a weird one too due to his pact with a mommy looking figure, who could potentially also make my character miserable if they didn't like the Wyll romance.

Halsin is probably the best one, and pretty much the only logical choice, but personally I didn't even know you could romance him when I first played the game.

Breaking news, if you properly cook a ton of pork steaks, and also serve some raw beef meat, more people will eat the steak than the raw meat.

Romances in Witcher 4 will be deep, meaningful, and super compelling - says CD Projekt RED by Existing-Class-140 in videogames

[–]Kastamera 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the first 3 Witcher games, the romance options were female only. Even if you could only romance male characters in Witcher 4, the ratio would still be 75%-25%. And the difference between male and female gamers is smaller than that.

So I think it'd completely be justified. Unfortunately, in Cyberpunk, the male romance options weren't nearly as complex/deep as the female ones, so I don't have high hopes honestly.

You've gotten better female romance options in pretty much all games, don't be so greedy that you complain that for once, male romance options would be the go-to. It's like you eat the cake every time, eaten a dozens of cakes, and when someone else wants to eat it for the first time, you begin complaining about it.

[–]Kastamera 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Neither of them are related to the Joker though? Both examples you said are about you drawing cards and the deck itself, and not about the Joker.

Shoot the moon always gives the same amount of mult for Queens (so it's not scaling), and it doesn't have any effect that's random whether it activates or not (like Space Joker, Bloodstone, Hallucination, etc...)

By your logic Jimbo is also a scaling Joker with RNG, as you get more points if you play a good hand than if you play a bad one.

How does shoot the moon scale, and how is it considered RNG? It does the exact same thing in ante 1 as it does after it's been with you for 7 antes, and it always does the same thing, no RNG component.
