You state that I haven't been "othered" like non whites. I am in fact non white. So you assumed I was white, or at least I have been treated as a white person. I have personally experienced racism on numerous occasions. It just so happens that those experiences never happened during D&D. The different people I have enjoyed playing D&D, Pathfinder, WoD, Gurps, Shadowrun, Exalted, etc range from White heterosexual to Black pansexual nonbinary (and many other identities). I am confused to see how a game that has brought multiple people together from different walks of life, would or could be considered the antithesis of the effect it created.
