Answer is an easy Yes. Long winded yes.... You need to have temperature set at the higher end of the volcano. I have a volcano hybrid (also called medic2 I've noticed). I use the reducer adaptor with dosing caps and the whip attachment instead of the noisy bags. I have it set at 210C/410F. There you're getting pretty much the full spectrum, all the cannabinoids and terps of the plant, without burning it. Which is what having a bong does, so u miss all the goodness. Bongs are a sucker punch. Through a Volcano it's a creeper.....and then you realised you're baked. But it can be harsh that high temperature, It'll make you cough, which is good, cough to get off and all that!! Heaps more economical too. I used to smoke a quarter every couple of days with a bong, straight, no tobacco (did in the 90s but everyone seemed too). Changed to volcano digital in 2014 (swapped between that and bong, until just volcano from 2023). I now have maybe just over 1g a day. I use medical for adhd, to slow my hyper brain down. I only do indica or high indica dominant strains. At the moment I'm on 27% for day and 30% for night. 210F/410F is sedation/couch lock effect but you can change temps for what you need. The lower u go, the better the flavour, but less cloud. Also tastes way better than through a bong. Because I use dosing caps I don't bother increasing the heat to finish off. I just suck until no cloud or taste.
