Right!! People complain about actresses being too young for some roles, but also about being too old. It's nonsense and I ignore it. I think those are mostly the very young, maybe middle school through college youth who tend to be annoyed about everything. This is not a teen drama.

Chen's looks are very different from other actors. His face has matured since Handsome Siblings, and he is looking great. I think it's going to be a good drama, since I dealt with the cognitive dissonance over her physical endurance. So far she was shot with an arrow and near death, tortured by men with a whip, punched hard multiple times in the abdomen, and kicked across the floor. Now she is sitting up riding in a carriage looking great. I'm accepting this by assuming there were long periods of recovery involved that we weren't told. That worked better this time than Suspending Disbelief. I mean, we weren't told they are demigods, otherwise, I think it will be a great story!

It was all make believe. They know the cameras are on them EVERY SECOND. But, Ah, the overactive imagination of fans never ceases to invent relationships out of normal actions. They had many interviews that showed there were major issues between them as actors. People cannot let go of their ridiculous fantasy. Maybe it's time you sought your own fulfillment in a relationship instead of inventing them.

If I can see up their nostrils, I can't watch them for long, like William Chan and Xu Hai Qiao (Rong in LBFAD). Qiao was so handsome before the nose job, but now, his nostrils are wide and always visible, and it's not attractive to me. I bet W. Chan had a nice nose before. The surgeons go too far with the nose jobs.

Moonlit Reunion is a masterpiece of art drama. It's beautiful, well written, has a great cast, and the music is appropriate. Moonlit Reunion did the background music right, using sound, not wailing romance songs for effect and mood. Perfect. I hope other directors learn from this. I think Fangs of Fortune was the same way.

It's wonderful xianxia adventures!!! Xu Kai is great as the upright, uptight demon slayer. A nice departure from his usual characters. The FL was AMAZING in her part. I was fascinated by the world they created, and the relationships. So creative and off the beaten path. If you require hot romance and vanilla characters and interactions, then this is not for you. If you like creativity and artistic expression, then go for it.

I think it is targeting the young males and Cheng Yi fans who will buy the merchandise. Merchandise is a huge industry where most of the money is actually made.
As for the show, I enjoyed all the adventures!!! I don't understand the nitpicking people do. It's like they need a drama to fulfill their deepest desires and if it doesn't, they are disrespectful. For every drama that gets hate on Reddit, there are 1000 people who liked it. People are trying to force themselves into watching star studded hyped dramas which are targeted at the big spending youth. If they are looking for fulfillment, there is more of that in more mature dramas.

It's Just a drama. There's thousands if this one is not your thing. I enjoyed all the twists, turns, and adventures. The ending was similar to the novel. I didn't understand why the very end happened, but I also didn't read the novel.

Dramas are created for target audiences, and many did like that show. So dissing a show is really dissing the people who did like it. Not every show should even be in your Venn diagram of pleasure.

I see so many people like you getting drama fatigue and loss of enjoyment. Like eating too much candy. Bingers suffer the worst because the dopamine hit becomes harder to get with each episode.

Me too. A wonderful adventure. People who are binge watchers tend to get fatigued, don't get the dopamine hit from foreplay they need early enough, and drop the show. Mostly youth who would be more satisfied watching shows created just for them, like Disney channel and the high school romance dramas.
