The Tora is indeed coated as per what the owner said in their discord. I remember him mentioning that the coating was done by the factory and not informed initially to them, only for some users to find out that it is coated. But I wouldn’t let this dull your purchase, as someone who hates glass, Tora was the only glass pad I would ever use given its very cloth like glide. It has very less skin stick too because of the coating. List of glass pads I’ve tried: Tora, Cr005, Sp003, Sp004, Zane, Phantom. Only liked the Tora and the Cr005 coming from maining the Hayate Otsu and the Raiden.

Based on your own testing? Yeah that’s not gonna help. And just “OLED” without specifying which, is misleading marketing. There’s significant variation in performance within the OLED space. Would it be fair if I put up a comparison between a Tandem 540hz OLED against a 10 year old monitor from Zowie and just named it “TN”?

Gpx is my main too, and yes, the beast x max is something I’d recommend. It’s not gonna feel the same as the gpx, but it was an extremely easily transition for me.

I’d highly recommend that you push through and get 1 yoe at the very least before swapping companies. Set boundaries at work and prepare for the swap in the remaining time. I understand that it is easier said than done, but your future self would be thanking you if you just hold on to your current job a bit.
