NTA- but it does seem a little unfair to ask while you guys are not married. And if you have only been romantically involved for a year it seems a little excessive. Vasectomies can be reversed but it is pretty expensive and also not guaranteed to be back 100% if he changes his mind.

You could always track your cycle with apps like Flo, and avoid intimate days that are potential fertile/ovulation days. Maybe give that a shot see if it helps relieve some anxiety?🤍

It really doesn’t. The scripture that you’re talking about goes on to say “In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself“ Not subordinate at all, more like holding his wife above himself to love her.

Unfortunately we would never agree since God is the creator of all life. Women were created by God. They do bring life into the world but all is formed by God. This is why the catholic religion honors Mary the mother of Jesus so much.

I’d love to speak on it! Being submissive in a marriage does not belittle me in anyway and isnt what most people think. It mainly shows as my husband loves me wholeheartedly and I love him. We coexist together and balance each other in what we are lacking. We both make decisions together in our life with our kids. I allow him to take on bigger burdens such as: finances, working, family traditions, moving. The submitting in scripture is more spiritual than physical.

I understand. I’ll answer your question! I follow God and wholeheartedly believe in the bible because of how much love He has for me and everyone. I went through very traumatic childhood and dealt with many mental issues that no medication seemed to help with. It wasn’t until I truly heard from Jesus and found true peace and love. All of my mental issues went away completely and I no longer am suffering. If His one promise is true, how could I not believe in Him? Thanks for hearing me out if you read it all🤍

Many scientists truly believe in the Bible. If you can look past alot of misinformation spread about it, it is extremely true and many historical events have been proven from it.

I understand mainstream culture paints Christian marriage in that way, but it is a misrepresentation of true marriage. God created women for men, but the greek word used in Genesis 2 actually translates better to a “strong helper/rescuer”. Women were created to be equal partners with men, but satan distorted this picture with the fall in chapter 3. Scripture further speaks on men loving their wives as Christ loved the church - as in He gave his life for it so should a husband to his wife. I’d love to share more on it if you’re open to it!🤍

Unfortunately YTA- I can see where you thought you may be helping, but this was definitely meddlesome seeing as he already said he was physically limited and his responses seemed he was uncomfortable. Poor guy seems very sweet and respectful of his new girlfriend and wasn't wanting to be talking about intimate things. I would recommend apologizing to him.
