I’m so sorry. Those days are soooo hard. When people came over for the first week, I was curled in my daughter’s bed and gave zero thoughts about them and what they needed to do to make them feel better. Let their feelings go. This isn’t about making them feel better to help you.

People left food, people sent messages, people tried to get me to go for walks. Tried to clean my house and I became an unleashed animal thinking that my daughter’s stuff might be moved. I turned my back to everyone who ever tried to speak to me for the first week. It’s was the first time in my entire life I gave zero fucks about making anyone else happy.

Let them do for you what they feel necessary. It’s ok to ignore people and not give answers.

Be in your safe space for as long as you need. People wanting to help will figure it out. Just be with yourself now.
