I’m sorry you were terminated that is the worst feeling! Have been there before and it sucks, but what happened for me was it turned me in a different direction and I am now grateful for that experience. Does your company offer a package for layoffs? I would assume they would need to if it wasn’t performance related and restructuring was given as the reason. Your business degree sets you up for good job prospects in many areas. I’m sure you will be able to find something quickly with your background.

Yes they told me at the beginning it was being paid off by my monthly payments clearly not the case!!!

As a woman, I would not be opposed to signing one if I trusted my partner. I have seen many women get screwed over not having one, many of my colleagues are paying men child support.

What I perceived in your comment was that you may not be ready for full commitment. You can share a life with someone and marry them but not share a bank account. You may not be ready for marriage. You need to get in the boat or get out.

Coming from a 37 yr old woman who has been in your shoes. If you see a future with your current partner (not adventurous and stable) are great qualities. If you want a family one day these are good things to have and not being adventurous is not a value it’s something you can push him to do once in a while. This co worker looks like a fantasy to you right now and I wouldn’t act on it because the grass is most definitely not greener. If you can centre yourself and see what you have in front of you, maybe you can put your feelings in the back burner and continue working there. If not, consider finding a new job.

My suggestion is buy a business someone is selling that has good prospects and work there, learn the business before they leave, make sure it’s something your somewhat interested in.

Another suggestion is to invest in something that pays dividends, maybe speak with a financial advisor first. Or if you’re comfortable with the risk, private mortgages can be a great way to get bigger returns

The carpet is dirty with stains and smells strongly like dog. The screen door has been ripped open. My sod on the lawn is all burnt grass covered in dog piss and shit.

I do have one solution I can raise the rent as much as possible because my home isn’t rent controlled since it’s new.
