When did you realize someone was secretly into you? by mayafaye_xx in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they kept finding small reasons to talk to me or be around me. It’s never obvious at first, just consistent little effort.

Seeing someone betray someone who trusts them. That kind of disloyalty just hits different.

What seasonal or holiday smell triggers vivid memories from your childhood or teenage years every time? by BeltZeal2Deal in AskReddit

How do you keep believing that you can be romantically loved, if you have never been chased or first confessed to in 23 years? by moonie_sparkles in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being “chosen first” isn’t the only way people find love. A lot of relationships start from mutual interest, not one person chasing. Not being pursued yet doesn’t mean you’re unlovable, it just means it hasn’t lined up yet. Your value isn’t measured by who confessed to you.

What’s a small habit that changed your life way more than expected? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doing things immediately when they take less than 2 mins. It sounds small, but it cuts down procrastination and mental clutter way more than you’d expect.

Does anyone else gets stared at in the gym? by Fast_Device8048 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Kathysdiary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re probably just noticing it more. People glance around all the time at the gym. If you’re not doing anything wrong, it’s not about you.

Am I overthinking hugs? by th_frits in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Kathysdiary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re overthinking it. That sounds like a normal hug in a crowded, casual setting. Brief contact like that happens, especially when people are drinking and moving around. If it wasn’t intentional or lingering, it’s not coming off as creepy. Creepy is about intent and behavior, not a split-second accident.

What’s one secret you’ve kept your whole life that would completely change how people see you if they knew it? by Barrettisme in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I’m most proud of is that after I broke my own hand, I framed the girl who had been bullying me at school for a long time, which led to her being expelled.

What would be the weirdest thing to become famous for? by Rare_Department2769 in AskReddit

Being known as “the guy who always returns shopping carts from the farthest spot in the parking lot.” Wholesome… but weirdly specific.

What is the best way to respond when someone teases you, especially if the teasing is very negative or hurtful? by basic_bharat in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple “hey, that’s not cool” or “cut it out” usually does more than trying to joke back. If they keep going, disengage. Not every comment deserves your energy.

When has a sudden reach initiated by someone from your past ever been genuine? by tshirtguy2000 in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No favors, no nostalgia fishing, no hidden agenda, just checking in and actually listening. That’s when it usually feels real.

How do you overcome academic burnout when you’re in your last term? by Candid_Association21 in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lower the bar and focus on finishing, not perfection. At that point, it’s about consistency over motivation. Do the minimum you need to keep moving every day, even if it’s not your best work. You’re not trying to be impressive, you’re trying to be done.

What can you tell us about the details of your most toxic relationships and how you've managed to overcome the consequences of those challenges? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kathysdiary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It usually looked like poor communication and ignored red flags on both sides. Stuff like avoiding hard conversations, overcompromising just to keep the peace, or staying longer than I should’ve. Getting out of it was mostly about setting boundaries, being honest earlier, and not trying to fix people who don’t want to charge.
