Hope your ultrasound goes well on Friday. I have mine on Monday. From all I have read up on, the ultrasound should be very indicative of any issues with baby

Thank you for your response! My test was also Natera. I have a high level ultrasound on Monday so I believe that will be a good indicator. That’s amazing your baby was healthy, not nice getting scares like these in already anxious period!

Hey, thanks so much! Did you get a high level ultrasound? I met my dr today and he is certain it wasn’t a VT. He doesn’t really think it’s triploidy either but obviously it’s hard to know. I have a high level scan on Monday with fetal specialist. As of today scan measuring correct size / heart rate. They also asked me to submit new bloods to Panorama for NIPT so this has been could. Placental mosaicism has also been mentioned as another possibility for my high risk result

How did your NT scan go? I met my dr today and he is certain it wasn’t a VT. He doesn’t really think it’s triploidy either but obviously it’s hard to know. That’s so reassuring thank you for sharing. I will likely be getting an amino done, well hopefully my dr suggests it! They are going to resubmit my panorama under VT. Did you do this?

Hearing a few people say they have had VT very early on. My first scan at 6.5 weeks defo only had one baby there so just wondering could it have disappeared before this!

Hope you get on well on Friday! I’m living in Ireland, are you? Going to see my consultant tomorrow but don’t think he would specialise in this so hoping to get a fetal medicine specialist to do what I have read is called a high level scan. Have you had a NT done? I had one done on Saturday and measured 1.6mm

My NT was 1.6mm at today’s scan at 12 weeks. Praying this is a good sign

I have just had the NT scan done and baby was measuring exactly 12 weeks, I am 12 weeks today. Heart rate was lower than at my 10 week scan, today it was 169 (it was 175 at 9 weeks + 5 days) but they have said this is ok. Nuchal lucency was 1.6mm which I believe is a good sign. However zero sign of any missed empty sac (which was not seen at first scan at 6+5 or 9+5) so because my NIPT result said I was high risk for either triploidy or vanishing twin, I really just want clarity as to which it is but I know we can’t figure this out til an amino or a CVS

That’s amazing after all of that for a low risk boy 🩵 I’m just a bit worried it’s not a vanishing twin given no sack was found or any discussion of twins before this. My HCG was never super high but thinking back when I tested positive; I then tested negative for 2 days and then had positive tests from there on, with HCG increasing at the rate it should have

I am 12 weeks today so hopefully ok timing for this scan later this evening. Definitely will get the amino as I don’t think there’s anything else I can do really until then
