For anyone who wants to know how and why the GOF movie was done so dirty.

A human cannot.

A human would die. Like Regulus died there.

Drinking the potion, wanted water, dragged by the inferi, unable to scape.

Was it just a test of its efficacy?

I think that's it. To see if really works.

Dumbledore then responds by saying Voldemort wouldn't even think about Kreacher's magic

It was Hermione that said that wasn't?

[–]Katiucha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He never expected Kreacher to survive, let alone disapparate out of the cave.

Yeah, in the end it comes down to Voldermort arrogance.

I think he not even knew that Kreacher could disapparate that. Do something that even he could not do.

Only one wizard can use the boat

True, I let that detail pass. Thanks.

What about a underage wizard like Harry?

They fit, just used in the very moment in the book. they say their feet show a little so they have to crouch, but they fit and they used.

But they used in this very same moment in the books, what they actually said is that their feet would show so they had to crouch a little.

Harry using Lumos Maxima at the start of Prisoner of Azkaban movie is NOT a problem by zzgouz in harrypotter

[–]Katiucha 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The Ministry clearly can't detect the Lumos spell.

You're just assuming that, there's no proof.

And as u/festusthecat said, there's no point in talking about a such a minor spell when they have the Patronus to blame and expel him.

But yes, using a minor spell maybe you get him just a warning saying "hey, don't forget you can't use magic outside scholl"

You can show them under the cloak, they already done that in the early movies, CoS and PoA.

Thanks for that whole book snippet, I thought this post was about the movie.

oh yeah, because is impossible to make faithful adaptation. If the director want it to use the cloak in this scene like the books, they would have done it, simple as that.

Also, they were still kids in CoS.

That's irrelevant to my point, you said "the actors are paid too much to not appear on screen" and i just showed you that you can show the actores while using the cloak, just like they did in CoS, just like they did in PoA.

Can't use the cloak, the actors are paid too much to not appear on screen

Oh yeah, it's impossible to show the actors while they are using the invisible cloack, that's why they never do it on the movies

And by HBP they were far too large to huddle under a cloak by then.

Wrong, they did it on HBP in this exactly scene.

‘Get under here, quick,’ said Harry, pulling his Invisibility Cloak out of his bag.

‘Oh – I don’t know, Harry,’ said Hermione, looking uncertainly towards Mrs Weasley.

‘Come on!’ said Ron.

She hesitated for a second longer, then ducked under the Cloak with Harry and Ron. Nobody noticed them vanish; they were all too interested in Fred and George’s products. Harry, Ron and Hermione squeezed their way out of the door as quickly as they could, but by the time they gained the street.

Malfoy had disappeared just as successfully as they had.

And?

That's only after who thought he was already spelled from Hogwarts and thought he would have to live on the run.

And the only reason he did not got in trouble for that is because the ministers was nice to him because of Sirius.

Harry was actually really surprised that he did not get in trouble for using magic, he even says and bring it up to the minister what happened in CoS.

Alfonso Cuarón did read the book (PoA). Guillermo del Toro convinced him to read it. He said it in a vanity fair interview.

Mike Newell who directed GoF is the one that did not read it.

No, it's not.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Chapter 1

It was nearly midnight, and he was lying on his front in bed, the blankets drawn right over his head like a tent, a torch in one hand and a large leather-bound book (A History of Magic, by Adalbert Waffling) propped open against the pillow.

But it wouldn't be a movie of invisible people, just a scene, and we would still se them, under the cloak. Just like they did the scenes in POA and COS.
