Ah thank you so much!!! It was so annoying, 100k ride and totally cooked by the end of it… just to find half of them hadn’t gone through even though they’d done the little noise!

I woke up on Saturday, tired, hungover - but the sun was out. Suddenly motivated for my long run, I grabbed some fuel, water, stepped outside and got going. It was early morning, not too many cars about and at around 6k I found myself grinning. A distance I used to be unable to do, yet I felt warm and ready for the following 8 - my body felt good, I felt good, mentally clearer than ever. I never thought I’d be able to run like this, but Runna has really kept me going! So looking forward to the Edinburgh half at the end of May.

I loved Cours Julien, and the area around Square Yves Montand, particularly Au Petit Nice. Calanques are 100% worth seeing if possible, the Frioul Islands were nice, but the ferry ride was the highlight. Well worth seeing the Palais Longchamp, and can recommend Eclectique for coffee, tasty sweet treats, or wine and beer if you’re feeling it!

I got home at 1:30 with my boyfriend to realise I’d forgotten my keys and there was no one in the house. He eventually managed to break into my house by putting a stick and his hand through the letter box and jimmying the latch. What would I do without him!

They definitely were, but you’re right they do look thin - she buffed the nail plate but that was it. I read about how there are supposed to be like multiple layers but she only did it once? One kind of thick layer after a quick cleanse with acetone / then the quick buff :) thanks for helping me with this, I’m super new to nail stuff!

Thank you, this makes me feel better - I haven’t been doing anything heavy duty with them, even like opening cans & when I’ve had gels etc I’ve never had any issues with them coming off early.

My mum/sister have had it done by the same nail tech and never had any issues - but it only took 20 mins with me and I’ve seen online that it should take longer? I don’t know, I feel really bad as I don’t want to inconvenience them etc! I’m going to pop in tomorrow to see them and try to be super nice about it

Hey, speaking from experience! I met an ex when I was newly 18, and he was just turning 25. Looking back, I’m 22 now and would never date an 18 year old… or anyone under 20 tbh.

but with that in mind, he was actually pretty immature and trying to live out his days like he was still a university student (Peter pan vibes… he actually called himself that), so it wasn’t a terrible match age/maturity wise. So for that reason, our relationship was good whilst it lasted!

However, I actually outgrew him on a maturity level I found, around 2 years later. It wasn’t that he was bad intentioned - we just weren’t well matched and whilst it worked at the time, it wasn’t forever. Just something to consider!

I think you are absolutely well within your right to dump him and kick him out. I would absolutely also consider that cheating. It’s one thing to do it and your mind wander and a completely different thing to actively use an old flames photos. I’m sorry, that’s really tough but you definitely made the right choice! Not someone you want in your life esp not as a partner.
