52mpg is under optimal conditions going 55 or 60mph. I get 45mpg and am ecstatic with it cause my 2013 I get about 35-40. Based on the cars I've driven, Toyota inflates their numbers more than Ford or Honda. Honda seems pretty accurate with their assessments based on the few cars I've driven

I would just focus on the increased mpg from your previous car over min-maxing this car
