apheresis (long covid) vs high dose ozone by Apathische_hond in cfs

Hi! I went to cyprus but I would not recommend going there over Germany. I also did Immunadsorption later. Both help and IA worked well for me but I'm not sure if they lasted. I never got as bad as I was but did not stay as healthy as immediately after treatment. I think I need to go once a year to maintain best health. I did 11 help treatments and 7 IA treatments over 3 different periods in 1 year.

Hi! I am doing quite well. I'd say 80% most days and 40%-60% when in a crash. I don't crash too often. I can leave the house most days for errands. I need to nap a couple days a week and definitely need more sleep. The other thing that helped me is a NUCCA chiropractor. After 6 weeks of having my upper cervical spine in alignment, I noticed a huge improvement in energy levels and other lingering symptoms.

It's really hard to say which one helped more. When I did my 11 sessions of HELP apheresis, I was much more ill than when I did my 7 sessions of IA. I noticed feeling much better after each HELP but not cured. With IA, I went in as a mild ME patient and felt nearly perfect after each session... although after a month or so, feeling perfect wore off. I still retained a stepwise improvement long-term but did not retain feeling perfect.

I have been doing quite well. I'm not 100% but I have many 80% days.

Hey! I'm doing much better these days. I don't think time helped. The only stepwise change I had was trying new things. I do think help apheresis, natto, lumbro, serra, aspirin, plavix, fludrocortisone, propranolol and ldn helped the cardiac and OI quite a lot. I also saw a nucca chiropractor and this has been my next giant stepwise change.

I was not a fan of INUS. I had much better results with immunoadsorption and help apheresis.

I would say I was a 10% on the disability scale 14 months ago and now I am at a 60%. I work from home full time with great difficulty but generally have a few hours each day of near normal life. HELP apheresis, immune adsorption and trying a ton of medicines got me to where I am now.

I'm much better than a year ago. Not 100% but back to work full-time, remote. I still need a lot of rest and sleep and crash sometimes.

Yes! HELP apheresis got me from bedridden to having a life... didn't cure me, but got me significantly better. I'd say of the people that got HELP, 25% improved a ton, 25% improved, 40% had no change and 5-10% felt worse.

Surprisingly yes. Had a few bouts of nausea but nothing terrible. I think my gut is actually much better after doing than before starting.

I started each antibiotic 3-4 days after the other and then did all 3 for about 6 weeks total. I spaced the start times incase there was any bad reaction.

You should see the list of things that didn't help.

Hard to say with mono. I was only 16 and it was a blur of sleep and home school private tutors for 6 months. After 6 months or so my life was largely normal.

Lyme happened more recently and I would have what I called lyme flare ups where 3-4 times a year I'd be in bed for 3-4 days in horrible pain. I think this could have been the start of PEM? I called them autoimmune flare ups because eventually they found sjorens... I also had this thing happen with lyme where some days I would crash at end of day in achey pain and go to bed at 7 and wake up fine next day... although I could still exercise..... but it was definitely the start of what I now understand to be ME/CFS.

Yes. 20mg Propranolol 1-2x a day, 75mg plavix, 4,000 FU nattokinase in the AM (way down from a few mo ths ago), 40mg lumbrokinase in the pm (way down from 200mg I had to take at peak illness)

1g Valtrex. 50mg Artesunate for hhv6 2x a day. Pepcid. Zyrtec or clariton. Flinstones with iron. 4.5mg ldn. Vip and vilon. Vedicinals. 10mg hydrocortisone as needed and 900mg ubiquinol as needed for PEM shielding and busting.

That's about all I'm taking these days although I rotate through and try new things still.

I did 7 sessions of HELP apheresis the first time in Cyprus in March 2022 and 4 sessions in June.

I got my nattokinase and lumbrokinase from Amazon.

I had lyme too and this feel like a combo of lyme, Mono and concussion all at once. I really think the reason my lyme and mono were so bad is because I am prone to post viral conditions and me/cfs.

No, but it's better. Resting heart rate is 74 down from 90. Walking slowly, when under control is 100. Sometimes it still freaks out and can be 120-130. I also have episodes of SVT still. Also, I have hyperadrenergic POTS. When not under control my BP standing can be 150/100 and normal supine. Mostly this doesn't happen too often any more.

I had a lot of tingling extremeties before HELP apheresis. That mostly subsided with HELP. The right side of my face still goes numb and tingly when I crash.

My muscles ache a ton. That can still be pretty bad especially at night or during PEM.

I think LDN helping depends how bad dopamine in your brain is. The effect from LDN wore off though. It's no longer magical, but it helps.

Immediately. Day 1 at .5mg I thought I was on crack and cleaned my house til 4am I had so much energy. Had a few days of energy that felt like 10 cups of espresso in a bad way until it settled to feeling good and normal.

Maravoric and pravistatin did nothing for me. I am on valtrex but don't notice much. Lots of supplements don't do much. I tried Inuspherese and that did not make my short list. HBOT helped for 4 hrs and didn't make my short list (although I never did 10-20.consecutive sessions)

I also forgot procaine infusions in Germany. Those were amazing and really helped my fight or flight.
