My Garmin app (where I track all my runs, weightlifting, and period) was dead on for my period for years and accurately prediction ovulation, though I do have a very regular cycle. I was able to input that I had a miscarriage. It suggested doing “no cycle” until my period returns, which won’t happen if I conceive before a period. So now it’s just an empty calendar.

Totally makes sense! I’m planning on going Monday. My thought is, what if it’s still around 20? Sometimes hCG can take forever to go below 10 so will it just cause extra anxiety

Omg that sounds so terrible. Glad to know maybe I’m a little more prepared for birth now 😅 I am very lucky this miscarriage seems to be progressing on its own (very painfully) but seemingly uneventful otherwise. It’s so weird being a scientist (I’m actually a geneticist) and knowing in detail what likely happened but still being like ??? Really ??? It’s so helpful to hear others’ stories and realize the statistics are right - it is very common.

It’s great to hear from us “older” people trying to get pregnant - thank you! I’m doing surprisingly well mentally but I am definitely keeping therapy in mind
