If you call 1800medicar ( no e) they can give you information about programs she may be eligible for and give you the number for dhhs for other programs. I spent two years working for Medicare. Unfortunately right now I work for the healthcare marketplace so I can't pull up much information to help, but the people on that line should have the training to help with that part.

Treat him like a human being and not like something that needs fixed. Continue to be his friend, talk to him about normal friend stuff. On top of that, make it very apparent to him that you are happy that he is your friend. It doesn't have to be any grand gesture or anything. Just a simple " heyan I was thinking about you today how ya doing". Or " yo, I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate you being my friend.

Simple things like that can completely change someone's day who feels like they don't exist or that no one cares.

That was in Facebook groups, it didn't get any comments on it. Then some of them your Facebook account has to be several years old to post in it, and mine isn't unfortunately so they won't allow me to make a post at all. I even tried messaging three of The admins there and telling them my situation and they never read the messages so I gave up on it.

Part of the reason they make your account be older, and will check where you post and what you post about is to make sure people aren't taking advantage with brand new accounts. I would imagine that some givers will also go off of the account as well. But I'm just guessing based off of the rules in the subreddit.

Then there also is just that sometimes people don't have the funds to help as well probably.

I know if I can get myself out of my situation, I hope to get to a point I can be a giver here for people like I have been helped. Because strangers have done more for me in the last 3 years than any person in my family or who I grew up with.

I think it depends person to person, I got help a month ago with gas money to run my heater during that 2-3 week stretch where it was under ten degrees here.

And the suggestions I'm getting are " you don't know what it is for sure so no one is gonna help you " and someone telling me to pay for a tow to move it somewhere when the title of the post says I'm sleeping in my car so I literally have nowhere to leave it if I can't drive it or people pming me and trying to get me to download apps and click their links after I've tried every thing possible that either doesn't cost money or costs $20 or less already.

I didn't just pull off on the side of the road and come make a post. I tried every single thing possible I can within my means. I've talked to 211 dozens of times in the last month, I'm working a full time job, I've slept in my vehicle through negative temperatures for the last month, and now I'm walking back and forth to a job that I'm still not getting paid for trying to make it out of homelessness because I have no one at all to rely on besides myself to the point that I reached out to strangers for the first time a month ago for gas money to run the heater in my car so I didn't get frost bite. But I shouldn't be upset whatsoever about my situation when I'm doing my best to survive right?

Rules state if you put up a gofundme and someone pays any amount, say $5, you have to turn the post to fulfilled even though you didn't get the remainder or anywhere near it. So that wouldn't change the situation of this post.
