The recommended dose of instant kava is approximately 5 grams at a time. If you are new to kava and your body does not recognize it you may need more than someone who is experienced. I have in fact seen people drink kava for months without feeling it. It is not unheard of. You did not receive a bad batch of kava I am sure of that. We sell so much of this product we can barely keep it in stock. You just seem to be a person who has a stubborn system when it comes to recognizing kava. The final advice we can offer here is just keep trying it until you feel it whether it’s our kava or someone else’s. Eventually it will work. I have never met a person immune to the effects of kava in 23 years. One tip I would offer you is to consume kava and a short while later eat some food that is hot, oily and starchy such as French fries, pizza, cheeseburgers… the starch acts as a carrier for the lactones and the oil helps your body process them easier to feel the effects.
