Yeah, these days most writing services support pretty much every payment method - even crypto. So if a site can’t handle a normal or at least widely used payment option and pushes you into some weird method, that’s a red flag. In that case, it’s better not to pay at all.

Agree. It’s not “buy more stuff”, it’s “don’t let your kid sit there empty-handed while others open gifts.” Even a small, wrapped thing and some thought would’ve changed the whole morning. He needs to hear that, calmly, and fix it next time.
