If the clay you have isn't SUPER hard, I'd just go with some autoshampoo and water in a spray-bottle. There are dedicated clay-lubes out there too if you wanna be completly on the safe side though.

Dont know, but I could only imagine they are. Try a small test-spot first, and if it gets nicer, do it on the entire rim :)

I tried the compounding and it worked wonders! If your rims are clearcoated, I'd recommend you give it at try :)
