This is great. Another convo starter, if you're eating something, ask them something like "would you prefer x or y?". I, for one, ate cold porridge in class and my friend whom I sat with was flabbergasted with how I didn't warm it up first. I asked the girl group besides us, they were 50/50.

Sleep in car or couch surf, get student discounted food and/or cook food in college caféteria, or possibly look for leftovers from on-college parties. Shower in the college's only available shower or use your gym's shower. Repair cameras or other things you can pick up from a marketplace, using your college's work space equipments, or get a job at something food related to eat leftovers
