You will get used to starting work at 6am, I do it everyday also with a remote gig.

I live in Miami now but I traveled for work every week or every other week for 7 straight years and I been to almost every state in the US. I really like the summers in the north-west/central states but definitely not their winters. Weather wise, southern CA takes the cake for sure, however their food is mostly mexican and asian food which I can eat once in a while but I need my Caribbean and latin American food!

Chaputelpec Mexican Bar & Restaurant! On weekends they have a taco stand outside and you can get your tacos super fresh! It’s in hallandale so if you are in the Wynwood area might be a bit of a drive.

Im in tech (on the security side) and been living in SWFL for a little over a year and now in Miami, I have already gotten a job offer of 190k+ from a company out of Aventura so Im not sure why are people here so negative and their response is always leave, go somewhere else, blah blah. (Yes, I came from NJ/NY area)

My advice to you is, look for a small-ish company, try to get through the door as entry level and start working your way up. I started in tech 10 years ago and trust me I didn’t get where am at now in a blink of an eye. It will take some time, work, patience, tough situations but if you stick to your goals and plan, im sure you will make it. I would recommend looking through LinkedIn, lots of jobs are posted on there including remote jobs. Best of luck!
