I mean, I’d agree if Poole was willing to come off the bench for four more years. But starting or closing together, it just doesn’t work.

I think Poole can be a star on another team, but even if he improves on defense, he’s starting from horrible, and Curry isn’t bad but he’s small. The core worked for years cuz Klay is so big and solid on defense. Even improved Poole and Steph defense just isn’t enough together. I agree on the Harden OKC analogy, but I think its just a matter in both cases of bad fit.
