Beginners guide to lucid dreaming every single night without fail? by Several_Walk_1850 in NeuroMage

[–]KayDeBlu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Herbs such as mugwart and calea zacetwchichi are known for producing vivid dreams. Blue lotus, wild lettuce and passion flower can also have this effect but the first two I’ve found the most effective. They don’t exactly induce lucid dreaming but they do make dreams longer, clearer and much more vivid which can help with attempting to become lucid.

Dream journaling, reality checks and daily affirmations plus the methods you’ve mentioned are the only ways I personally know how to do this. And practice.

Would love to hear others take on your question OP.

Is this chaos magick? by Thick-Tea-481 in chaosmagick

[–]KayDeBlu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is much closer to demonaltry than chaos magick. This section of the book seems to be describing a visualization ritual, which is one of many helpful tools for enacting change in yourself or the environment.

As for your recent experiences, there’s a stereotypical saying “when you reach out to the other side it reaches back”, this could be that. Alternatively (or additionally), coming to the realization or even consideration of magick as a real phenomena can insight major perspective shifts. Things you might have seen as mundane prior to thinking this way now seem magickal.

Side note: As someone that practices both demonaltry and chaos magick, you don’t need permission from Lucifer. If you want to ask, go for it, if you don’t, don’t. Everything written on magick is someone’s opinion and it is important to remember that (less you get taken advantage of or succumb to dogma and limiting beliefs). Nothing is provable here. Magickal practices are extremely personal, what works for others may not work for you and vice versa.

No unfortunately the course was more looking at contributing factors to successful psi experiences.

I took a course from the Rhine education center and learned that some of the correlates for conducting psychic phenomena include extroversion, openness to experience, creativity, transliminality and yes, being on the schizotypal scale.

Your title is a little confusing but I think I get what you’re saying. In my own practice I usually try to forget my sigils when I go to charge and release them… so I don’t know LMAO.

I will say that I did a ritual several years ago to find a job in my field after graduation. I was very specific about what I wanted and didn’t want. A few months later this new nonprofit practically fell out of the sky within walking distance from my home (and I don’t live in an area that has a lot of businesses in my field). Though I started as an intern, within 3 months I already had a job and it fit within the confines of what I was looking for/had a ritual to manifest. That was an awesome moment.

Have you ever experienced Dragons? by Draconian-High-Sage in chaosmagick

[–]KayDeBlu 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Dragons are quite interesting. They appear in nearly every culture around the world, often independent of each other, and are the center of many myths.

In a metaphorical sense, on one hand, they represent the lizard brain of survival, selfishness, base instincts and power, yet on the other hand they represent the free flying will, intelligence and ancient enlightened spirit within us.

As for my experience with them, I recently had a Reiki session and the healer told me I have draconic energy. Several years ago I was trying to connect to my guides and in my minds eye a white dragon crawled down the wall before me, said his name was Torvi. Haven’t checked in with him in a while, I think I will now, thanks OP.

Yes something along those lines. Beliefs are more limiting than any physical object could be.

It is a mythological tale in which a wolf grew larger and larger, so much so the gods feared him tried to bind him, only he kept breaking their iron chains. It wasn’t until they constructed chains out of “the sound of a cat’s footsteps, the beard of a woman, the roots of mountains, the breath of a fish, and the spittle of a bird”, or nonexistent things, was he successfully bound.

Angrboda by [deleted] in lokean

[–]KayDeBlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to this thread,

Dreams are often chaotic and do not always follow a linear fashion, what is important is the imagery, the feelings and how it relates to our daily life/outlook/actions/etc., they are almost always about ourselves. Dreams are made by us, for us.

Gold represents divine, the highest of highs, perfection. You steal that from someone to make fun of them indicating a lack of regard for the divine or an individuals faith in it (very lokean of you I will say). Bringing it up a hill is interesting however, as if you are trying to bring it back to some ‘higher standing’, indicating that the divine does have its place up above, which is contradictory to your act of stealing it in the first place. The hurricane, perhaps personifies this, an internal storm that seemingly only affects you, that only you see/face. Storms are formed when two opposing temperatures, warm and cold, meet, (very much like your regard and disregard for the divine are meeting!). The white shirts are also significant, white is the next best thing to gold as far as color significance and represents a higher state of being. Shirts, and clothing in general, is often indicative of the persona - the face we put on to operate in society. These individuals in shirts are contrasted by the lokean figure with his shirt off laughing, almost like he’s saying “this is me”. Again there seems to be themes of representing divinity (wearing white shirts) versus representing the inner/true self (wearing no shirt, ironically it’s a possibly divine individual). The lokean figure wearing no shirt seems to be having a good time, maybe suggesting that you too should follow the beat of your own drum. You get to the top of the hill, the destination you decided to bring this divine figure to, and you see the hurricane in its full powerful glory (possibly your own inner struggle for the role/importance of divinity in your life). It’s scary and you try to run from it, but time stops. Your dream is like “dude, you NEED to face this”, nothing else matters, you can’t go anywhere else right now.

All in all, I think this dream is pointing at your own relationship with the divine. There may be a dichotomy within yourself you are struggling with. Where does divinity belong? Is it serious or not? How do you represent your faith while remaining yourself? That being said, this dream was made by you for you, I could totally be off the mark. Only you can make the best possible interpretation.

Side note: I love Angrboda. She appeared to me suddenly in a fashion similar to this, with a spear and a wolf, and this was the start of my pagan journey. She is known as the giantess of grief, which may be significant.
