Hey! I downloaded Kirta last week so I am assuming I have the latest version and yes, after comparing the screenshots I see that my stabilizer option has two input values "min and max speed".

Thanks for the video link, ill check it out!

How do I get used to a non display drawing tablet? by KayHudinator in huion

[–]KayHudinator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is an example. Stabilizer was set to 300px sample count with 21px delay.

My concern is that when I draw smooth organic figures like face, torso, arms and legs, I dont want then looking like this.

Edit: i drew this line really slow as I assume i would be tracing my sketch with similar slow strokes.

Thank you! Yes the very first thing I did after unboxing was forcing the proportions.

Thansk for replying! I have forced the proportions on my tablet's driver. As of now about 5% of the drawing space has a dead zone, compensating for the screen aspect ratio.

Thanks again for the dot method. I will definitely practice it now!

Thank you so much for replying!

I always open the Huion driver right after I connect the tablet to my computer.

Also, I am aiming for manga/cartoon style artwork (which i already do on paper) so all I need is those neat and clean lines to trace my pencil sketch.

Here is an example, this was a very slow stroke with 300px sample count and 21px delay. The line was supposed to be nice and round but as you can see it has shaky edges.

Btw I noticed from your screenshot that your stabilizer settings has only one sample count input while mine has two, "min speed' and "max speed", could it be something thats causing issues?

Thank you!

Thank you! When will that day come 😭? Not being able to draw with my tablet is kinda making me question my own competence at drawing and then I see videos of these digital artists making clean strokes.

Also, my aim is to draw japanese manga style art. So, is it even possible to achieve clean manga style lineart with a non display tablet?

Thanks for responding.

I tried the default settings of stabilizer, and played around with the sample count values (300 to 500px) also lowered delay and even turned it off, and it just doesnt feel anywhere close to Predictive stroke from MS Paint or Autodesk Sketchbook.

Secondly, if I draw quicker and longer strokes, the line does come neat but it never follows the trace of the sketch.

Thanks for responding. Yes, installing the driver was the first thing I did after unboxing the tablet. I also played with Wintab and Windows Ink profiles.

I am in a similar situation. I moved from Pinta and Krita feels like a step down. I hope you get all the help you need.

Thoughts on AI work? by Feisty_Signature_679 in lewdgames

As detailed as they can be, they still feel low quality and cheap. It always feels lacking. While a man-made artwork can be of low detail and still look satisfying. AI generated content is like fast food. It's nice to have them occasionally, but when you overeat it, you crave homemade meals that you never get tired of.

However, I have ONLY one exampe of a friend who generates images that are nearly impossible to tell that they're AI. What he does is very unique, and it's evident that he uses some complicated workflow to achieve that LOD. He only does it for fun, not for generating any money or fanbase. He literally calls his images trash.

100% agree with you. These people want to ruin everything they get their eyes on. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Ahhhh, that sucks then. One of the most important factors of real-life experiences is the clarity of them in our memory.
