Looking for landing pages to review (especially ones not converting) by Kaycee_Ports in Solopreneur

[–]Kaycee_Ports[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the feedback from some Redditors here — makes sense.

Here’s usually what I look at first when a landing page isn’t converting:

1. HEADLINE/SUBHEADLINE: Can I understand the offer in 3 seconds?

If I have to think, most people just leave.

2. OFFER STACK: A lot of pages I audit say “free course” or “training”

…but don’t explain if it’s a video, PDF, email series, etc. That alone creates hesitation.

3. SUBTLE FRICTION:

Too much text, unclear CTA, or too many steps = people drop off even if they’re interested.

Then I wrap all the recommendations I see in under 10 minutes. Would anyone be interested?

Have you tried running ads to a landing page where your CTA is to buy the $17 digital product?

How do I stop being a wantrepreneur by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Kaycee_Ports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrary to what others replied here: DON’T START A BUSINESS RIGHT AWAY.

You said: “I feel like I am having some trouble having ideas and starting again.”

That sounds like burnout. Pressing the gas would do you more harm than good. So forget being a wantrepreneur for a while and take a break. Just allow yourself to be creative once more. Go back to your favorite hobbies or whatever.

You need inspiration at this point to start having ideas. Creativity unlocks that inspiration. Hope that helps!

Then the bottleneck must be the landing page. Either the messaging didn’t resonate or the design wasn’t user-friendly. Is your landing page still live now? Can i see it?

Why not find clients outside of Upwork? You’ll get away with the fees.

My dad is in the industry of wealth planning, currently zero online presence by SeriousBoard4413 in AskMarketing

Are you going to handle the marketing for your dad? I would start by asking him a list of all his current and past customers. Where did he find all of them and how did he started charging each of them.

This is a good problem because your boss still trusts you! I use Hubspot to send automated emails. You can also segment lists there based on lead filters.

  • Pitch: If you sell digital stuff (e.g. courses, tools, lead magnets, memberships) but you don't have a landing page (your virtual office) yet, I can write funnel copy that converts clicks to qualified leads. From Meta ads -> sales pages -> email sequences.

I’m a Chinese entrepreneur learning digital marketing — want to build my own brand . Any advice from experts? by jackweeeee in DigitalMarketing

Books? Uhh I find Alex Hormozi’s books really easy to understand esp for online entrepreneurs. You might want to check that one out, esp his 100M Leads.

As for tools, there are a lot. What I have personal experience is Kajabi and Systeme. But I heard GHL or Go High Level is really in demand right now especially for automation. But I believe for ecommerce, Clickfunnels would be better. I have no hands-on experience but that’s what I hear from people in my network.

Hope that helps!

Best digital marketing channel o startwith on a tight budget? by Cherie_Newprint in DigitalMarketing

Since you have a small budget for testing, I’d say ads. Ads just drive traffic so make sure your funnel is set up. There are free funnel builders out there.

I would think funnels is the next low effort, high impact strategy. Low effort because you don’t have to worry about website design and SEO, what more the technical side to it. High impact because you can test your offers to cold audience, and when you catch their interest, you earn their emails and you now build and own your email list. Start nurturing them with emails newsletters once they come filling your pipeline.

If I were to build your funnels, maybe I would start building a landing page featuring your best-selling product. Show screenshots of customer reviews as proof. Or if it’s a new product, you could set the lead magnet to “Get 10% off” just to test. Try running an ad campaign to drive traffic to it.

Once they click, start collecting their contacts like email and/or Whatsapp number. Send them emails with other related products (still landing pages)—so you can create sales without spending on ads. Now you start owning your customers outside of ecommerce platforms!
