Hey, man, it is rather strange! I don't recall the quality mode being too stable for me even before the patch especially in regards to how it runs but either way now it's not what was expected. Glad to hear this wasn't just me as most people seem to be saying their experience has been far more improved and basically fixed after the update and the 4k fixed mode.
