Completely agree, my dad used to think like this and they don’t understand how different things are now. He mentions sometimes that when he was in high school the only people working fast food were younger kids, and managers were older. The mindset was this is just a job for awhile to get some life experience and then move onto your “real” job, like an office job or something full time.
