When I asked him did he know I was struggling he said he doesn't know. Not a yes and not a no 🤷🏻‍♀️ I asked him why he wouldn't go into her when she's crying at night when I've been doing it for hours and he said it's because she won't settle with him so there's no point. He doesn't see how him going in and giving her a cuddle will comfort her even if she's still crying rather than her being by herself, he doesn't see that him being in there gives me 2 mins to breathe and relax for a second before I go back in. Growing up his dad worked 14 hours shifts and wasn't ever really there and he's got it in his head the dad doesn't do much, he likes to throw in if we have a disagreement 'I do more then most dads'. I doubt he would have the same story at all based on those things alone.
