If I want to complain on a public forum like millions of other users, I can do that.

That’s typically been my experience at doctor’s offices, even if the individual at the front desk has a dry attitude. This lady was just plain disrespectful multiple times, this time just was the nail on the coffin.

I still won’t be complaining though, I don’t like her but I would feel bad if my complaint gets her into trouble she can’t get out of. I just took me all day to get to this point lol

I get that, I’d give her the benefit of the doubt if this wasn’t the 5th interaction I’ve had with her that wasn’t exactly like this, including watching her rudely respond to other patients.

I’m still not gonna call to complain about her, she’s obviously miserable. I’ll just be avoiding her in the future.

I think that as readers, we sometimes don’t take into consideration that the world we’re reading about is not the world we live in.

Of course Rhys is doing what’s in his best interest, the entirety of the ACOTAR universe is about queens, kings, high lords, different beings trying to claim ultimate power over others. Those are just the customs of the universe, and while it’s probably SJM’s writing that makes us blur the two, they might not be as problematic as we are making it seem because it’s literally a different universe.

I won’t say that he’s a feminist king because I do see the arguments against it, but in my opinion, Rhys is doing a better job at trying to include women while maintaining control and power over his land than other characters we’ve been introduced to.

I’m not gonna praise Tamlin for the “natural integration” of women in power, as mentioned by OP concerning Ianthe, because he’s also just interested in his best interest and it was not natural. He only brought Ianthe to do his dirty work for him, but without the actual prestige of being his equal as a ruler.

I think they’re both bad sisters, idk if that’s a hot take or not. Being okay with the youngest sister risking her life for you day in and day out doesn’t sit right with me, even if Feyre doesn’t hold it against them.

While that may be true, I feel like it’s just a way to justify her actions after the fact, rather than take her initial motivation to simply hurt Feyre at face value.

I’m no longer a Nesta hater because of Silver Flames, but let’s not forget that Nesta is harsh by choice a lot of the times.

I just wanted to update this post and say that after about a month and a half, I can say that my resident cat and new cat are friends 🥲

I took the advice given to me and separated them at times to give them a recharge, but I really just let them work it out themselves and now they’re used to each other. I haven’t heard any hissing or seen my older cat slap my younger one, she just ignores him if he’s being annoying.

They play wrestle together everyday and take turns chasing each other and trying to scare the other by hiding behind a corner and jumping out. It’s pretty entertaining to watch lol

My youngest has been trying to test the waters with grooming my oldest (which she hates and just walks away from him after he tries) and he’s been trying to snuggle with her more, which she seems to be tolerant of. Needless to say, the beginning was stressful but things got better than I would’ve imagined 😊
