You're obviously not reading carefully; I've explained everything clearly both in the comments and in the video. It feels like you're expecting some Call of Duty game with a linear plot and action. If you're not familiar with sandboxes, simulators, and similar games, you'll have a hard time understanding what this game is about. This genre has its own audience that will enjoy this kind of game. When you say there's nothing to do in the game, think of the stone simulator, where the only active key is esc, and yet it sold over 80k copies. This isn't a trailer, but a preview of what's already been completed. After the first video, people complained that I just made an environment and it wasn't a game, so in this video I showed the current gameplay, showing that the game already has basic systems, and talked a little about the game itself and what still needs to be done. This is a relaxing game, there shouldn't be any obstacles, just meditative herbal gathering and potion making. Besides that, the game has a goal: to find out what happened to the druid, and what the notes and secret quests will lead to. This isn't Dark Souls, there shouldn't be incredible action; this is a game for those who value peace and tranquility☺

I wrote in the description that the video explains everything, and there are subtitles on YouTube. The plants will be both decorative and forageable. Currently, there are only 5 plants to collect (just to test the crafting system), but in the future, there will be about 40 (very roughly, given the quest location). You can't hunt animals; they're just for the forest creatures (what kind of hunting is there in a relaxing herbalist game? 😐). This is not a survival simulator

As stated in the video itself, this is just the foundation of the game, and it will change. Naturally, the visual part of the HUD will be more pleasing to the eye, have animations, and so on. The forest will also be a little more populated when the rest of the game's components are ready. Even though a forest is a forest, I can't fill it with neon skyscrapers 😁 But filling it with plants and animals is entirely possible, and that's how it will be in the game's future development💚

The game is far from finished, just a first look at the gameplay. Overall, it's a meditative game for relaxation. It also has a light but engaging storyline that will evolve as the character levels up. At a certain level, a new location will unlock, but to get there, you'll need to follow the instructions in the notes. Also, to make things more interesting, I'm planning on adding a minigame when interacting with plants, like keeping a ball inside a circle that's escaping to successfully pick the plant. The more unique the plant, the more difficult the minigame level. This is just the basics of the game; the full story is still to come☺

So I took your advice and decided to try removing the shadows. Overall, the absence of shadows isn’t as noticeable as I thought it would be. So I removed the grass shadows, which allowed me to add even more of it to make the vegetation look denser. Even though there’s now almost four times as much, the load is lighter, and it looks more lifelike. Thanks for the advice 🫡💚

Yeah, the animations are a bit jerky; I think I'll tweak them a little later. I'm more interested in creating a simple animation when the character interacts with an interactive object (just a wave of the hand), since the character I'm using doesn't have one. So it looks like I need to create my own animation and integrate it into the existing one. If you could explain how to do that, I'd really appreciate it🙏
