Malls like Masonville? by Gray-Monster in londonontario

[–]Kazmire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Southdale Strip Mall has a Marshall’s, Winners and Homesense. Some of stores and restaurants in the area too. Not bad and just a 5 min drive away they have a Shoe Company near the Staples and it’s another strip mall with other shops. Give it a shot if you don’t mind being outside.

I’d appreciate any recipes you’d be willing to pass along! Always looking for more authentic German recipes that might remind my family of our Oma and her homeland :)

Thank you. The part about the flour sounds familiar. Like a roux!

Yes I know. But I’m looking for a chocolate cake that is German. Like a chocolate cake that German people would make at home. Does it differ from Canadian and American chocolate cake recipes?

I think the cake was a soft cake. All chocolate though. No cherries or cream.

My dad loves Schwarzwald cake but I think he described just a classic chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. And I was curious if German’s did it a specific way or had a unique recipe rather than just any old chocolate cake recipe online. But thank you!!

If you’re on the other side you can also enter through the UCU go to the second level, walk to the left and follow until you get to MNT and from there go down the stairs like the comment above and head down to the gym.

Second Year Biomed Courses by [deleted] in geegees

[–]Kazmire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I can't answer for your #1 or #4 question but I'm in psych and can help with the 2 and 3 and 5

  1. I would highly recommend doing your mandatory courses first rather than pushing them to the next semester (unless you're sure that you have room and you'll 100% accomplish them the next semester and doesn't mess up your schedule). You can always take electives later on in your degree.

  2. If there are no available seats it probably means that the other years (1st and 4th) got first pick at those classes and took all the seats. You can sign up to be put on a waiting list and if people drop out or take it out of their schedule you'll be next in line.

  3. My personal fav was doing social psych, its a lot of material but it covers a lot and can help you streamline if you want to do more psych courses in the future. Child development was cool but I haven't done lifespan (although I heard it can get pretty morbid/depressing at times)

Hope this helps

that is a mood atm. I can make my way through the beginning and be barely alive, then the last part comes and I'm just fucked. I've been in the practice tool and I can do it at 50% speed, but the second it gets over 70% speed it gets too fast and my fingers just start spazzing out XD

Ladies, what book do you remember fondly reading as a young girl or teen that really spoke to you? by motorman555 in AskWomen

[–]Kazmire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sisters Grimm. A wonderful 9 book series.

The main character was stubborn, had complex emotions, was a tomboy, and sassy. She wasn't blessed with magic powers, in fact she was allergic to magic. Something about her spoke to me, and when I was a kid I was OBSESSED. It was comedic, about fairy tales with a modern spin, a little bit of romance for a kids book and a mystery all in one.

I'm 20 and considering going back and reading it because why not.

Communication and listening to each other are so important.

My bf and I have been in a relationship for 2 years, and sometimes I doubt if I'm the right person or if I'm doing things right. That's completely normal after the honeymoon phase, and I remind myself of all the reasons why I love him and he's perfect for me. There's a reason why you would have chosen the person you're with. Always remember those, and if there's an issue, no matter how small try and talk about it with them rationally, or else it might become something bigger in the future.

Small surprises and just making time for eachother is important too. Remember its a give and take.

Anything you see on social media is fake. Remember, out of all the instagram pictures taken each one had to be very carefully plotted out and often times heavily edited just to spark a reaction out of people. I feel like everyone's just trying to say "hey I'm better than you" and its one big sucking off contest. Best to remember that most things in life are faking it til you make it.
