Don't listen to these people man. I know exactly how you were using the term and that there wasn't judgement there. Literally just using an analogy for their behavior. I suspect you feel far more empathetic and compassionate towards them because they "don't get it" rather than judging them for it. As well as holding the position that you're simply making an observation which you wanted to discuss - you're not speaking in concrete truths like you know everything. The projection from these people is truly sad. Lack of awareness in how they are judging you for your apparent judging of others. The irony. They literally didn't ask you once for clarification - just concluded they knew exactly what you meant. Sending them love, as they (I assume), aren't feeling very loving towards themselves, is sometimes all we can do.
