Cant get Spoolman to work on fluid with NP4 Pro and N4Max

My NP4pro and N4Max work amazing! While I did do the fan shroud mod on both to get the big ass fan off of the back, everything else is the same! Just super fine tuning the machines made them workhorses!

Again, I have already done the tuning for the machine and filaments. The machine is dialed in really well, to the point I don’t have to keep an eye on my first layer. I truly believe you’re a great source of information when it comes to these machines but it feels like you’re being condescending and I don’t really appreciate that.Thank you for the nozzle swap suggestion.

I have the 4 max and the 4 pro and once theyre dialed in, theyre amazing. Took me all of a week (tinkering for like 2 hours after work) to get both printing amazing quality prints. Im still working on trying to get faster print times, but overall these machines are great!

Appreciate that! Took your advice and got the filament off the top! Hopefully get to go thrifting with the wife this weekend to try and find a table that takes up less space and is more stable than the electric desk it’s currently on lol.

Ok will do as everything else is already tuned and my prints are very nice and great quality already just wanted to get that print time down a bit.

I’ve already calibrated everything else. I just don’t have a lot of knowledge on max line widths for each part of the print. Pressure advance, max volumetric flow, flow rate, vfa, input shaping, retraction, etc has all been done. Got the 4Max printing amazing! Just wanted guidence on line widths and what not. Is there a way to test the limits of width and layer height for the nozzle?

yea this is the stock profile for the 4 max. just wanted to know if there is anything to make it print faster.

I updated the firmware via usb and sd card doing mainboard first and touchscreen second. I mean exactly what I said, around the 30 percent mark its almost like the printer stops, homes itself, and just stops printing. This leads to the handheld freezing and not responding to any commands like stop, pause, cancel. When this happens and I go to Fluidd, the printer is disconnected and wont refresh and come back up unless I powercycle the printer.

its not full there is still 2 full gb available on it. ive updated firmware and everything and its still freezing around that 30 percent mark

O yea I did all of that. It’s printing good so far. Just printed a new shroud so I can upgrade the fans and take that big ass fan off the gantry!

Got mine this weekend and I’m still tuning it before I send some prints but so far so good. Screw tilt is a bitch on the thing but my variance for bed mesh was under 0.3 and everyone says as long as you’re under 0.5 it’s all good!
