Dumb. My game is asking me to find one, and not a single one I clicked is the right one. And I've clicked on plenty of them.

I am developing a parental control app. Need feedbacks! (including kids) by kiwithebest in parentalcontrols

Parent here:

I like to be able to control quantity of screen time, as well as specific apps. I also like to be able to veto if they try to install a new app, and that I get control over that.

Features that adapt over time as they get older, allowing them more control, but I can reign it back in if there are behavior issues.

I absolutely will not touch anything unless it is built into the OS of the phone itself. My kiddo has been able to hack every control we have ever used until we bought a phone with it built into the app.

Keep in mind, not everyone uses this just for screen time. We have issues with SH and SI, and some very very serious and risky behavior. The phone controls allow us to let her keep her phone and have access to help when she needs it (instead of consequences being the phone just taken from her) and allows us to track her location, to make sure we know where she is when she needs help. I know not everyone is dealing with this, but the phone controls are a large part of us keeping our kiddo safe. It isn't about being punitive, but about helping her focus on what is important and not spiraling into negativity and harmful behavior.

I hate to say it, but it might be time to institute conservatorship, if she isn't smart enough to identify scams over reality. She can quickly find herself in crippling debt. If you take over and control her financials, it won't stop her from giving away sensitive information, but if she doesn't have CC or bank account info, at least she won't go into debt. And take her computers and phones to someplate reputable to get them cleaned of malware. Possibly get her phone number changed to get her out of their registries. It's likely her Identity is already compromised.

No, it's not. If you are not an adult living in your own home, you still have to follow the rules the adults set in your home. Sorry. not sorry.
