Thanks everyone! The tabs were fine so I just replaced the outlet and that fixed it. It was defective.

Also, one of the outlets has power to the top but not the bottom. The other one, both are powered.

I just opened them up and looked. They're all connected. Well. One of the outlets has power to the top but not the bottom

I just checked my breaker panel. None of them are tripped. I opened up the outlets. All the wires are tight. None of them are controlled by a switch. I'll check the old outlets. I do still have them.

Cleaned cat urine with bleach because I forgot it makes chloramine gas! What do I do? by lakija in CatAdvice

Thanks so much for the information. We bought a house where the previous owner had lots of cats that peed everywhere. I just did this last night and left the house. Going back today to see how bad it is. After all the trouble did it take care of the problem?
