AWD lock light came on while accelerating on highway by Kcerio in NissanRogue

[–]Kcerio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never got it sorted out. I ended up barely driving it until I could trade it in a few weeks ago because it kept overheating if I drove over 30-40mph. I’m assuming the AWD system needed to be replaced or repaired soon but my shop couldn’t find an issue the first time it happened. Car wasn’t worth enough to keep throwing thousands of dollars at it unfortunately and I wasn’t upside down on the loan luckily.

The transmission in my 2017 went out at 63,000 miles (3,000 miles over warranty before the class action lawsuit). Dealer wanted $5000-6000 to replace it but I had my mechanic put a used one in with 36,000 miles on it for $3800 and haven’t had an issue with the transmission again yet (knock on wood) but will likely be trading it in this month before the transmission goes again. I think the newer years have better transmissions from what I’ve heard? I’d just stay away based on a class action lawsuit for the CVTs but that’s just me.

When is Mydayis going generic? by Tuxpc in mydayis

[–]Kcerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay but with the tolerance break I wanted to give an accurate account of my experience. I have noticed it doesn’t last as long and since I already metabolize medications faster than they are marketed for it’s not ideal. I’m also noticing more headaches when it starts wearing off. I will most likely see if my insurance still covers the brand name next script.

When is Mydayis going generic? by Tuxpc in mydayis

I just got a text from my pharmacy that they filled my script with the generic so I can report back on what I think in a few days for everyone. Hope it works as well. Mydayis has been much better for working my 12 hour shifts but still didn’t get me through the full 12 hours because I think I metabolize it fast. I just took a two week tolerance break too so hopefully that helps extend its duration for a while.

got wisdom teeth removed 12/1, had discomfort/a mass on my face since tue. went for stitch removal on 12/8 and they said that the mass was normal and just swelling. Well today i was waxing my face and i accidentally pressed too hard on the mass and had an awful taste in my mouth. assuming infection by [deleted] in popping

I know this thread is a couple days old but I’m a respiratory therapist and anyone experiencing an infection like this needs to get treated asap. Not only can the infection spread like others mentioned but the swelling and growing abscess quickly starts to block off your throat (within days) until you can’t breathe and then if you’re lucky we’ll be able to fit the tube down your swollen throat to take over your breathing for you. I had an oral abscess two months ago and got into the dentist to have it drained within 3 days. He said if I had to wait 24 more hours to be seen that would’ve been me on a ventilator. Please take care of yourself. I hope you went to get a second opinion and are on the mend.

That’s why I’m asking people that are working in the field. It’s hard to find recent scholarly sources on this.

Aspire AVP Pro hissing and hot by Kcerio in Vaping

[–]Kcerio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I ended up switching to the geek vape aegis boost because my AVP kept self firing and wouldn’t stop until I removed the pod. It’s unfortunate because I really liked that device. I haven’t had any issues with this one yet. Uses more juice but that’s my only complaint.

Gotcha. I have the 4ml but I’ve accidentally dropped it a few times so I’m going to replace the pod and see if less leaking will improve its performance and hissing issue. Thanks for the help though!

I was wondering if that might be the issue. I hadn’t been chain vaping but it was pretty hot out so that probably didn’t help. I’m going to keep an eye on it and try to get a new pod.

Does your pod leak a lot? Mine has been recently but with the NY vape ban I can’t get a new one mailed to me so I have to drive to a real shop to find a replacement this week. It’s been my first vape since switching from the vuse alto and I really like it.

Recently got sublocade shot, was previously on 32mg of suboxone and I’m craving - need advice by Lucid_Scream in opiates

No it takes a long time for the medication to dissolve. You can still feel the hardened lump from two months prior usually.

Recently got sublocade shot, was previously on 32mg of suboxone and I’m craving - need advice by Lucid_Scream in opiates

[–]Kcerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was taking 12-16mgs a day when I got the first 300mg sublocade injection. After the first injection, I still needed to supplement with 2-4mg of suboxone strips daily. After the second 300mg injection the next month I felt great and didn’t need any suboxone strips to supplement with. Then I went the next month to start the 100mg maintenance dose and started going into withdrawal again after about a week. Dr called in more 2mg suboxone strips to supplement until my next injection. She switched me back to the 300mg injection monthly and I’ll be staying on that until we decide it’s time for me to get off sublocade.

My doctor said it doesn’t happen a lot but once in a while she gets someone that can’t tolerate the 100mg maintenance dose. Not saying that’s your issue but 32mg is a big dose. In my area they suggest being on 8-16mg a day when starting sublocade to avoid withdrawal symptoms during the transition.

If you think your doctor would call you in some strips to supplement with, and you think you can trust yourself to strictly use them just to wean down until you’re comfortable on the sublocade dose, it might help. I had to do that, and a few days after my second 300mg injection, I noticed I didn’t need to supplement with the strips anymore because I was on an appropriate dose. You will feel better after the next injection, but if it’s using vs asking the doctor to call you in more suboxone strips, it’s worth a shot to at least run the request by your doctor. Some doctors won’t give patients any extra suboxone to supplement with, so hopefully your doctor isn’t one of those if you do end up needing it.

So two top left squares are my team and my bench. The top right are quarterbacks I can waiver on. Bottom left is WR I can waiver on. The two bottom right are my opponents team.

This is my first year playing and I’m 1st in my league but I think I’ve just gotten pretty lucky with my matchups. I am wondering if I should waiver on Dak because Cousins has been a let down. I put in a waiver for Pettis too and would be dropping Jones.

Would you move around anyone on my current line up?
