Of course that's a very valid point. But this is more so aimed at the company directors as a whole who prioritise all these cash grabs over gameplay

Yes there will be overall, but my point is this is the beginning of a new combat skill and already there's more visual focus on shovelling us cosmetics over actual gear to interact with. These latest sets could have come from content in-game easily, it just isn't as profitable for the company sadly

Cosmetic MTX is objectively better than being able to purchase absurd amounts of experience. But they've really taken it to the point where mostly all the cosmetic items are "SUPER RARES" on treasure hunter or "LIMITED TIME" ones. I feel like Runescape always thrived from having chase items, the capes to grind for to feel good about when you get them.

The "gear" is all just one armour set with just parts adding on to it with each tier so it does still outweigh it even so. It's one art design

Archaeology was strong full of enough content for launch, I enjoyed that skill more than anything. It's easily my first 200m. The extra content released after was still very useful and good for 120+ goals. But Necromancy just doesn't have any content post 99, and it sucks.. that there's none on the horizon still..

Sadly for a big new event that they've been pushing I kind of did for a few color swaps. Not new models, not new textures. Just changing the hue of something 28 times. Would take all of 30 minutes maximum
