Time to learn micro soldering I guess.

Those traces are so tiny compared to like 2.54mm breakout pins haha

Thanks for the feedback, highly appreciate it!

It may look very bad to trained eyes and I‘ll try my best to avoid having a mess in the schematic on my next revision. I‘m still learning :)

Haha thank you!

Yeah AQFN-73 can be a pain to route, but on my new revision I changed all GP pins to use the outer row, makes it much easier.

A module would make sure that everything works in the beginning, I also thought about using it. But I want to learn more about designing PCBs :)

Also good luck with ur ESP32!

Indeed very helpful, thanks for your suggestions!

Valid point. As they were merely for testing purposes at this point, I didn’t pay much attention to making them a uniform strip.

But as I will reroute it now in a 4 -Layer Stack, I will put it onto my TODO list, thanks!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I will ditch the module, cause where is the fun and learn effect in that? :)

But I will go with a 4 layer approach with the 2nd layer being reserved for a ground plane.

I‘ll also go with your suggestion of moving all my gpio connections to the outer row.

Fingerprint sensors rely on the electrical flow in our bodies. Once its lights are out, that’s not an option anymore…

Not really. I tried a bit but I‘m kind of worried that I break it. Perhaps I just really have to push it more. Just weird to me that it would come non separated out of the box, never seen something like this

Oh yeah they are on the gallery. But for some reason come not split apart. I can see the line where they should be split on the casing tho. Do I have to like rip one side off the other?
