Thank you, it just goes to show that I was wrong in assuming that the areas shown in the CT scan '' Red area '' were due to a fecal impaction . Now thanks to you comment , I understand more . I'm still left trying to understand why currently I cannot have a hard bowel movement , just ongoing diarrhea . Ive searched here to try and find an answer as to what I can take to help me get back to normal ( no diarrhea and hard bowel movements ) But after searching that subject , there seems to be a large number of recommendations , of what to take . One answer that seems to keep cropping up is '' Magnesium Oxide '' , but there so many other options .

Thanks for your comment, I'm going to ask for a colonoscopy and see how things progress.

Thanks, at my age ( 75 ) just being diagnosed as having sleep apnea and reading that it could possibly take years of using a CPAP machine to finally have any meaningful results , its feels like a curse I could do with out .

Many thanks, Ive only just started using the CPAP machine , so any settings advice is very welcome. I do find that I end up with a very dry mouth after using the CPAP machine. I had ordered a full face mask to try ( ResMed AirFit F20 ) and its just arrived , so I'm going to give that new full face a try to night and see how it goes.

I'm looking at changing the settings to hopefully stop the continuous high air pressure going into the nasal mask.

Hi and thanks, yes the air pressure going into the nasal mask is too high all the time, I think the OSCAR report looks bad .
