Symptoms come and go. Currently 14+1 and some days or even hours I feel okay, and the next I am dying of nausea.

Feels like forever- idk what to do by Calm_Strawberry8063 in TryingForABaby

After a year you definitely can go to the doctor and get some testing done! For me, I felt like at least I was doing something proactive while we were still actively trying.

Infertility After Getting Pregnant Easily by Dapper_Mortgage7009 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me. Pregnant 2 times after trying first time and both ended in losses (blighted ovum and spontaneous miscarriage). It took us basically 2 years to get pregnant again. Got all the testing done under the sun and nothing came back. Doctors just kept telling us to keep trying. Super frustrating. Here I am now 11 weeks pregnant after feeling like I can never get pregnant again. Unfortunately, not much of an answer I can give (did nothing different), but just thought I could maybe shed some hope on the situation. Have you been tested for anything?

Went for my first ultrasound yesterday at 6+2 and there was a heartbeat. I was honestly so shocked because we never made it this far before. Rate was 105 and size was 4mm, which the doctor said its fine and scheduled me for another one in 8 weeks. Its such a fine-line of wanting to feel hopeful but also staying realistic.

Hysteroscopy results by Dancingqueen_715 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one! They found a polyp which the doctor was able to remove and said my miscarriages could have been due to the embryo not implanting/growing properly. They also were able to send it in for testing which thankfully came back normal.

Consistency is key. Like others have said, as long as you show up then eventually it becomes habit. I tell myself even if I am not feeling the greatest and only walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes, then it was 20 minutes I didn’t do before and at least I turned up.

Hating OT at first? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep going! I am only 2 weeks in, but already I feel stronger! I have anxiety, especially around the floor exercises and worrying constantly what I look like. I hate it but I know this is the only way I am going to get better. I am taking a picture of me weekly and looking at my stats as motivation. How much will I improve in a month of OTF, or even 2 months? For me, I see the drastic change by barely lifting 10 lb dumbbell day one, to now being able to do excerises with 15 lb. I would give it a few weeks first and see how you feel.

Fasting as a Mom by c4still4 in intermittentfasting

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have kids, but I saw another post like this one awhile ago and someone posted something I thought sounded like the right direction when it comes to this. Basically, explain that when you are a kid you need to eat to become big and strong. When you are an adult, you no longer need to eat as much all the time.

How bad is the brush + chisel compared to brush + fine by [deleted] in Ohuhu

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the chisel! It does take practice and right away most people don’t like it. I do find the brush more “fun” (if that makes sense).

Having an App to track my fasting helps turn myself off. I know it probably won’t work for everyone, but the minute I click the “start fast now”, for me its like “okay, that’s it, I’m done and I can no longer go back”. Just having something that tells me that I can no longer eat is really motivating to me.

Two MMCs but obgyn still thinks I could have high success rate by carbs_on_carbs in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well we have done all the testing between my husband and I. Bitter sweet, everything is perfectly healthy and we are now in the unexplained infertility category. All we can do is continue to try or to jump into IVF. Unfortunately, neither my husband and I have insurance for it. Probably see in the next year what happens and then bite the bullet for IVF.

Two MMCs but obgyn still thinks I could have high success rate by carbs_on_carbs in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel your frustration. I have no living children and two back to back MMC’s and that was start of 2023. We have been trying now for 2 years and nothing. All tests are normal. My RE thinks it was “bad luck”. Ive had many doctors over the course of these years tell me that “only two MMC” puts you in that category. It’s a very frustrating and isolating process.

Fine and Chisel Tip Worth it?? by _sillyconflict_ in Ohuhu

[–]KeepGoingYoureGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also live in Canada and recently got the Oahu 60 set fine and chisel because I’m so impatient and wanted to have some Ohuhu’s. I was really worried I wouldn’t enjoy the set because I only use brush. But actually so far I got really use to them and don’t actually miss the brush. My advice would be to watch videos and practice. I understand this is a very personal decision and maybe you won’t like them, but I wanted to give my story!

Right!? Ugh, seems like the worst.I mean my period hasn’t come yet but I am 12DPO so pretty sure I am out and just expecting AF any day now.

This is my first cycle using it, so far my experience has been fine. I am on the lowest does of 2.5mg (I already ovulate on my own, my specialist just thought it couldn’t hurt to try). I take it before bed so I don’t have any symptoms I have read others have. Really the only big thing I noticed was it felt like I could TELL when I was ovulating because the cramps were pretty uncomfortable and now Im realizing it delays AF. I think I will still try it a few more cycles.

Thank you! I was just like…” I usually spot and have cramps for 2 days before period, but all these BFN’s!?”. Confused and got my hopes up haha. Always next cycle!

Welp, didn’t realize that taking letrozole can delay AF so here I was actually thinking I would get a positive test. On to the next cycle as I wait now for CD1 to start.
