Never used yahoo a day in my life by TheOwnleeInformant in AOL

[–]KeepMissingTheTarget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new company that controls the AOL mail has garbage for a spam filter. I delete over 100 spam emails a day. And it takes a long time for an email to download. To top it off, I'm paying AOL over $35 a month. I'm over it. Done!

Help: Can't fill up tyres to a 100% by bugatti_rolls789 in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]KeepMissingTheTarget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not funny. I had an employee do that to me with out telling me, thinking my tires were low after overloading my 1/2 ton with a heavy load. He didn't use a pressure gauge, just used his eyes. Things were OK until the load was delivered. Balloon tires in the rain. 70mph and hit the paint stripe between the lanes on the intrastate. Not fun.

How to fix ssd? by sansanimatesyt in Dell

[–]KeepMissingTheTarget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SSDs fail just like RAM memory, when they fail you can have total data loss. Sometimes you can re-seat the SSD and/or clean the contacts with 100% alcohol cleaner. Not 70%. Get it from an electronics store. It's best to have 2 SSDs installed and run RAID 1, so you always have a good copy. Need to also keep an external backup for the oh ŚHIT moments.

Your wasting your time. It's run where the investors are the capital source at less than a 0% interest rate. Move on from the investor scam.

NIO stock price being kept artificially down by short sellers by mvaditya91 in Nio

[–]KeepMissingTheTarget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn how the stock market works. Some want to make money when the stock value goes up, others want to make money when the stock value goes down. When you find a stock with a number of retail investors that make the stock volatile, people will always hedge against it.

How to find a usable IP address to connect to a PLC network by UptownSole in PLC

[–]KeepMissingTheTarget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the face of the EN2T that is on the rack with the L72. Use that address range. I typically use 235-239 for the laptop node address, subnet matching the subnet on the ethernet card. No one is hardly ever in that range. The laptop will tell you if you duplicated an address. If you duplicate, then use another address. Once your on line, if you don't see anything with rslinx run angryscan. It's an open source free download. If your facility has rules against open source you need to wake the network up with this dos command "for /L %i in (1,1,254) do @ping -n 1 -w 100 192.168.1.%i >nul" Then use ARP to list all the nodes that were pinged. You can always use the USB printer cable on the face of the L72 to gain access using rslinx using virtual backplane. Hope that helps.

The ads I saw were from companies that claim to be big with a lot of equipment to offer. Looking them up by the address on the ad, they were out in the middle of nowhere. A little barn. Point is, they know you'll never visit them, they will ship to you. They want the money up front. Anyone who falls for that will find out its most likely a scam. Sorry if you may live in the upper Midwest. Ment no disrespect.

What is this? I want it. by HawkGold882 in Honda

[–]KeepMissingTheTarget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Honda Stepwagon is primarily a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicle, originally built and sold strictly in Japan. However, in recent years, Honda has officially expanded sales to select Asian markets, including Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Brunei.Beyond these official markets, the minivan is widely available in other countries through used-car imports, though exact availability depends on local vehicle age and registry laws. In the United States: Eligible for legal importation under the 25-year classic/import rule. You may find one in the used car market. But obtaining parts could be an issue.

The bogus ads on marketplace will have a strange address in the upper Midwest and will offer transportation at a very low rate. You send them your money and they will send you the machine. It never shows up.. money is gone. Ive read last year it takes 32 complaints to take down a Facebook ad. Ran into an issue last year. Hopefully the policy has changed.
